Here is a great improvisation exercise you can try out.
Sometimes we can feel that our improvisaton skills is not developing. We are stuck in the same patterns; playing the same licks, same melodies and it feels like we are playing all the time with no plan.
My best advice?
Take the harmonica out of your mouth and leave space. In this video I show you a system and disciplin I use when practicing leaving space and the benefits it can give you. This mindset works in almost every genre and groove.
