Thanks again Hector for the excellent content. I am an accountant/bookkeeper that's been putting off the proadvisor program, but I've started the training and hope to get certified soon. 🤞
Thank you so much Mr. Garcia for the detailed explanation on “How to get certified in Quickbooks”. This video is very helpful for me and I am sure for many people.
I got one question. Neither I have my own accounting firm nor I work in any firm. I want to get QBO Certification, so that it increases my chances of getting a job. So my question is that, can I mention imaginary firm when I am signing up for free QBO?
Hi Hector, your videos are awesome. I have spent over an hour on the phone with QB support and they were not able to find a solution. We need a report to show all checks written on a specific payroll period, not just a specific pay date as there can be more than one payday to accommodate corrections. How can we see all checks written for a specific pay period? Thank you for your time.
Having some limited exposure to Desktop over 5 years ago, I passed the QBO ProAdvisor certification exam last week, but I don't feel prepared to go out there and take on the books for a business. Another trainer that endorses you implies if we don't go on to get the Advanced cert, we won't get clients. What next step(s) would you suggest? Start studying for Advanced? Take more fundamental Accounting/Bookkeeping courses? Other?
QuickBooks is a software, Accounting is a Profession. To make a living in this profession, you need to understand how accounting works AND the software used. So yes, to both things you mentioned. Maybe get an internship in an accounting firm.
Thank you so much for sharing this video. I am out of USA and really want to get QB certificate, can I use my friend's number who live in US for sign up? and for 5 sessions exam, can we do it different day by each session?
hi, I am confused whether I should go for "QuickBooks Pro Advisor" or "QuickBooks Certified User" certification. To give you context, I have just completed my diploma in business accounting and trying to get all the skills to be AR/AP Clerk or similar roles. I want to get the certification which makes my CV more competitive and relevant, please advise.
I was looking to get into bookkeeping and though that the ProAdvisor program would help me get my first job in the field along with a bookkeeping certification , but you mentioned if we do not have clients we can lose the certification. If I were to get a job using this program to elevate myself from others and not form my own bookkeeping business would it be helpful?
Thank you, Hector. Can one update the e-mail address in QuickBooks ProAdvisor after you create the account if you wanted to use a different e-mail address?
I watched the video, it is very helpful, thank you Mr. Garcia, One question I want to confirm: All Online Intuit certifications are free but not the Desktop ones, IS IT ???
hi hector, when i sign up for pro advisor, it is always error code : enter a valid postcode. I have input the valid postcode, but the error code still appear. what should i do? Thanks
As a new person to quickbooks, my view looks so different than yours.. maybe its change. I cannot find the trainings and webinars. i see 5 'units' of training which are slow difficult to get through. im at Lessong 3/ 5

Can you pause the exam to view the training modules? For note purposes being that it’s open notes?
ProAdvisor, yes is “open notes” and its not timed, so no need to “pause”

Every person gets certified individually with their account

WHY does everyone feel the need to talk and talk and talk instead of getting to the point... Is it because they are nervous? Everybody talks too much.
