Yesterday I went to a estate sale and got a silk and linen beautiful button down and a beautiful poet’s cotton shirt and a really nice cotton cropped denim jacket , jeans, a black simple maxi dress and joggers ..all for twelve dollars and fifty cents and they all look new!!! Now, if I can find some linen pants. I got a twenty dollar striped cotton shirt that rang up one dollar on a clearance rack. I have had a lot of luck. I love you have that Freddie’s page. I love all of your clothing and next I need new tennis shoes. I had the Steve Madden dupes for Golden Goose , but I have worn them out. Thanks for all the ideas for a capsule wardrobe. Your hair is so chic. ❤❤❤
Was not feeling well this morning, but had to go out for a small errand. I pulled on my denim shorts, a white button up and leopard print slides with a bow..😊..and my looks-like Rayban sunglasses, hair in a messy bun. Not too bad for 67. 😄. Luckily I still have great legs, and live in a small town.
I have been surprised to find in Walmart in United States, some very high-quality linen and cotton linen blend shirts. Most of the ones I have seen have been striped or plaid, but I wasn’t looking for plain colors and they may exist. The price is always good there, and finding something of quality is surprising.
My local Walmart is decent and I have bought linen shorts, and 2 pr loose pants with a matching jacket. Also some good, soft, 100%cotton tees. My local TJ Maxx is awesome too. I bought a lovely, light green linen shift recently and a blush/white striped linen long sleeve shirt. 😊
I simply love your sophisticated style and I’ve been busy downsizing my massive wardrobe. Watching your videos has helped me so much! Now it’s easier than ever to say…nope…nope….nope. 😂 😂

Great video. I would add shorts and casual jacket. If I lived somewhere warm, I probably wouldn't include a jacket. But I live in the Northern Hemispehre and it can be cool on the water or once the sun goes down in the summer too. So a light jacket is a necessity, and linen or twill make for excellent breathable options. I not much of a non-sport shorts person, but in the height of summer, nothing else will do - especially in cotton or linen.
Oh, I do have a question. Since you’ve moved to a much warmer, humid place, has that changed your style? I live in warm, humid Florida and jackets, trench coats, etc are usually only dug out of the closet a few times in the winter.

Chou Chou, denim shorts and those tight tanks/bodies are definitely not for women over 50 outside the beach or their gardens if they don’t have a body like Cindy Crawford’s ! I’m in my 40-ies, looking like 30+ and I don’t wear those anymore (outside).

I have 4 linen shirts: olive green, navy blue, light blue, and white. I also have 2 pairs of linen pants (light beige - loose and flowy- and white straight leg ankle pants. I also have a beige linen maxi dress. Love linen in the summer. It’s very hot and dry where I live.
I had gotten a lovely oversized linen beige blazer but it was too big and I looked frumpy for sure so I passed it on to my niece a teacher who it would better fit.

I just want to bring to your attention that when you wear your glasses, it is hard to see your eyes because the light you use gets reflected on them and your facial expressions that usually complement your good arguments can be hardly appreciated.
