This is day 2 of my journey to get to a rating of 2100 on chess.com.
I still need to improve at talking through my moves, but I am absolutely loving 15+10, I think the games are a lot more fun to play and will definitely prepare me better for OTB chess! In this game we play the Dutch Defense and we learn all about zwischenzug!

As I see it, this was your true “reaching 2k” game, the other one was too weird and brief.
Although this one was a little messy at times, it was hard-fought, and ultimately you outplayed your very highly-rated opponent.

This brought me back to you people typically stop at 2000. And it’s annoying. Like IM, NM, it seems like they are just doing the videos for monetary gain which is boring.
@@Llama_vet do you think there is ever a point in chess where you've gotten as high as you can? Or do you think it can always be a learning thing and striving higher?
Being able to win ugly games is a skill your opponent lacked, but you have. These are the human games our silicon friend dislikes. Your opponent didn't like it either. As a Réti/Nimzo-Larsen player, he probably aimed for a well organized attacking play. You didn't give him that.😁
I really like the attack he went for though, I probably should pick up the nimzo larsen, it seems so so solid
