You are such an amazing talented "good" person. I am an 85 year old woman and I had two boys who were truck drivers. I sooooo admire and respect good truck drivers. It takes plenty of talent and courage to do what you people do, day after day. I so appreciate your clean intelligent language....very few curse words. I know a few don't hurt anything and I also know the problems 4 wheelers cause truck drivers. How many times I've heard my sons yell at 4 wheelers that just don't care if they cause an accident. Too many truckers have lost their lives because of stupid 4 wheelers. I just so enjoy riding along with you and seeing all the sites that I haven't and won't ever get to see in reality. Your videos are sooooo good. Thank you for all you do and please, please be careful in your travels. God Bless.

I love how the boards are placed against that Mobile Chapel trailer, so it reads "sport for Chris". Is that by design or by accident?
BTW: instead of bolting those floorboards back to the new frame, you could use an industrial glue when you bolt that new frame into place. Something like a Hi-Tac construction glue will do the job and it'll prevent corrosion between the boards and the frame.

Got an easy way to remove big rivets. Take a cut off wheel and cut a slice in the head from 3 to 6 o'clock then use a chisel bit on your air hammer and sheer off the cut head now one section at a time. They usually pop right off. Then use your center punch bit in the air hammer and push out the rivet like you did in the video.
I use to lower trucks for a living when that was a thing in the 80's and 90's, sent hundreds of lowered trucks to Japan. Had to knock out rivets all the time when changing out leaf spring hangers etc.....

Curious cause I'm not in trucking and so have no clue (and without getting into numbers) - Is it "normal" in trucking for the states/geographic regions involved in a load's origin/destination to play a meaningful role in whatever the numbers work out to be? Is there a "rule of thumb" in the trucking industry that certain regions/states "just cost more" (or less) regardless of load/mileage particulars and regardless of which company/driver is involved? California comes to mind as (I'd expect) likely to change numbers by virtue of being California... Do other states/regions have similar sorts of "issues" commonly factored into pay/customer quote calculations for no reason other than being ?

Steve u never been to Aspen Colorado? It's a good area to go on a vacation. Me and Jesse had a blast staying up in a resort there. When we took a Hotshot Load up there. Jesse was having a blast on the Snowmobile and so was my Grandma and Grandpa before he passed away. They was having fun and they were like kinda dodging Jesse when Jesse flys by throwing snow from the backend of the snowmobile he was on. He was on a Advanced Snowmobile. My grandpa and Grandma was in a kinda stock snowmobile. I had to hang on tight around Jesse's waist when he went full throttle. Jesse got on the Desktop Computer and he was like oh hell we can go to Aspen Colorado and my grandma was like when. And he said Monday cause a load is needed to be delivered up there from Grandprarie Texas. And it's a Hotshot Load. Nana's like sweet. Jesse just hollered at one of the kid's and said where's his snowboard and there like ????? And I said we are going to Aspen Colorado Monday. Cause it says that it will be ready to pick up Monday and we got it cause the price is excellent.bajd we will get another load on the way up there. Cause the trailer we use is pretty long. And we will use a company Dually Extended Cab Dodge truck to haul it there. Our Duramax It's getting fixed new suspension upgrades to haul heavier stuff and new 5th wheel hitch. We like using Gooseneck Trailers or 5th wheel Trailers.

Do you plan, by chance, or have you thought about using a coating like Raptor Liner Bed Liner or something similar to paint the bottom of that trailer? That stuff is tough, and since you are in the land of Ice and Snow, (and salt), it may offer more and better protection against any further deterioration.

The first rims were “Locking Rims” and not true “Split Rims.” What made true “Split Rims” dangerous was that rim sections would become rust weakened overtime and as a result could/would fly apart violently when they failed. Locking ring rims are perfectly safe as long as the lock ring is not broken/damaged and is installed properly. One reason locking ring tires are still very common and popular today is tires/tubes on steers can commonly be changed while mounted on the vehicle and this makes them popular with certain types of vehicles and applications
