One of the details that I love about this theme, and I don't know if it's deliberate or happenstance by either the one who made the chapter dialogue or the composition, but Aubrey's line of "That's the signal! Thieves guild, open the gates!" happening right as that horn sounds a couple seconds into the song really makes your heart stop. It flows very naturally with how the average reader goes through the text on a first playthrough. (such that I've avoided skipping the cutscene in subsequent ones!)
This is an amazing track to work out to. Really pushes my limits and gets the right type of anxiety energy to get pumped up and worry on why I am working out
Is it just me or there is some blend of Thracia 776's "Defense" theme from the initial sound of this one? Well given that there is also a defend the city chapter in Thracia and this one as well, Mangs and team really love to sprinkle little subtle detail about past FE games in this hack.
Who thought it was a good idea to give Brianna 50+ defensive stats, i almost shit myself. At least there should be the hint that you need to kill all harbringers first.
More deployment slots. More Turns to spread out the reinforcements. Those are the only things I would ask for in this chapter to feel a bit more reasonable. Especially the deployment slot gripe; This is an "ALL HANDS ON DECK!!" scenario, and I think it should be treated a bit more as such.
I loved/hated this map so much lmao. Had to restart since training Meme units wasnt working, untill Emilia came and sent everyone to the after life with the le funny Nosferatu
The fitting theme for the hardest chapter in the game and i love it
This right here is peak, the culmination is long 29 chapters to absolute devastation, accompanied by a banger player phase theme
IT'S THE FINAL COUNTDOWN!
"Welcome to hell, Jakka. We've been waiting for you."
The music. The stakes. The battle. You outdid yourself with setting the mood for this map!
Chapter 29 really hits different with this banger track. It matches the narrative perfectly.
This song perfectly encapsulates the war that occurs in ch 29, the ending with brianna was just overkill lol, greatest chapter ever

I love when everything comes together and create a memorable moment like this. Thanks for sharing it.
This chapter is kicking my ass and I'm not even mad because its such a delightfully intense map
God this theme kept me going during this chapter, best chapter iv'e ever played and this banger helped a lot
Peak fiction.
This song is just so oppressive feeling which fits extremely well with the immense pressure this chapter puts you under
Genuinely love this track so much.
Shoutout to my gladiolus fred for solo-ing the entire west side by himself
For me, it was Berit who bashed the heads of every enemy in the southern gate and Kurt who crowd-control entire eastern side.
@@tatinh9885 Galeshot + Master Bow Kurt's carried the eastern side for my Lunatic run too. Dude's a beast.
Archgayle/barrier sword Shom on the top left fort is cheeeesee
Ngl best player phase in the game
Best track in the game

One chapter away from this on my lunatic playthrough. God help me.
Did you win, son?

Isn't that clearly stated in her inventory? Or was one item not present in earlier builds?
@@VonFirflirch Well, on my second playthrough i checked the description of sigil. I thought those bonuses were from Hellfire tome.
Alvaro says it to her when he gives her the sigil earlier in the story.
Brianna: 50 damage with a high chance to crit along with a damage boosting ability!? Oh F*%K NO!!!
Also Brianna: 2 hit by Ogbunabali

When I heard this I just knew shit was getting real.

man I love those drums
Just hearing this gives me PTSD. Storywise this chapter is great but man, does the game throw a bunch of bullshit nonstop at you.
This sounds like its from Gauntlet series. I know Mangs mentioned that some inspiration drew from that series and others.
Is there a non 8-bit version by chance
