- Improved speedrun of Shattered Pixel Dungeon using the set seed "nevergonnagiveyouup". Managed to shave a little time off every chapter. Will go lower as needed.

It's a set seed run .. u basically look for a good seed and check all the items/rune/equip chests / number and location of upgrade scrolls
U can't pull this off on a random seed cause some seeds loves to screw ur run

It was a set seed. I think the items work the same each seed.
I strongly suspect cheating with how he used the identifying stone. Luck twice in a row? Unlikely. He also knew right away which scroll was for upgrading.
Either way (cheating or not), there was a lot of thought and talent behind this run.
@@bfibelkorn no it’s a seeded run, he knows every single level and item beforehand
@@bfibelkorn um no. Seeded runs keep all the equipment types corresponding with the same scroll symbols and potion colors. The 'R' symbol scroll means upgrade scroll for this seed always. No cheating.
I've played this game for years and never knew you could sleep by holding the wait button. Thought you needed that scroll of lullaby lol
It's a lot faster than repeatedly spamming the wait button lol
