Phylum Platyhelminthes Overview: The Flatworms. And yes, they are actually flat!

Scientists are great at naming organisms, and the flatworms are no exception. Ranking at the flattest animals, with most individuals less than 1mm think! Even though that are meters long maintain their two dimensions. This video explores why their flatness is evolutionarily beneficial and other characteristics of the phylum. This phylum also does some "backwards" evolution that we will explore.

I really appreciate it! Yeah, the taxonomy stuff doesn't really change but I'm trying to do a better job in organizing. The original goal of these videos was for my personal students, but since they are helping so many more students I wanted to do "rebrand" the videos to make them easier for folks to find!
