- It's been a long time since our first short film, and we are super excited to announce the release of our latest unreal engine short film, "Oryctes."

These kinds of shorts have been popping up on my feed, and they are nothing short of amazing! The amount of detail and storytelling squeezed into 2 short minutes is incredible.
I know this question is coming from extreme naivety, but...
How realistic is the idea that someone with ZERO experience could use Unreal Engine and create a short film just like this in a year? Are the tools all accessible? Could it be done from the comfort of your own home using a laptop?
Can anyone point me in the right direction on where a total noob could pick this up as a hobby?
