Hello! When I create a sales order and uncheck the Skip auto price calculation toggle in the sales order creation form, the Do not process toggle gets turned on in the Sales order header and cannot be unchecked. Is there a way where I can get around this, as I need the prices to flow from the trade agreements defined in the Pricing management module and be able to process the Sales order as well.
Can you elaborate a bit? Do you check or uncheck Skip auto price calculations to see Do not process auto checked and greyed out?
@@nextoneconsulting It happens when I uncheck Skip auto price calculation, i.e., set to No. When a sales order is created with the toggle set No, Sales order confirmation etc, are greyed out and the order cannot be processed further due to the Do not process toggle being turned on in the header and greyed out as well.
Not sure if these are related. When you set Skip auto price calculation to Yes, does Do not process turns off?
@@nextoneconsulting Hey thanks for your replies! To answer your question yes thats what happens. I figured out why I was not able to process the sales order when the toggle was Off, After creating the sales order and adding the lines, I totally missed the "Complete" button in the action pane. After completing (confirming the prices on the so) I was able to process the order further, like confirmation and invoicing.

I see why it can be confusing. These attributes indeed come from customer table (customer group, price group, customer attributes, etc.) but a customer itself is derived from sales order header.

I have issue when setting up the "item base price" , the systemn ask for Site (Inventory dimension Site is mandatory and must consequently be specified.)
Could you please tell me how avoid this message and set up the item base price without Site ?
I don't think you can avoid that as site storage dimension has to be specified for item base price. Similarly to how site storage dimension has to be specified for item standard cost.
So, if i understand well, my item must be not site specific in storage dimension to be able to make base price without site
I think it's opposite, the item should have storage dimension group with "Site" dimension enabled.

Pricing management is applicable to any company (manufacturing, retail, distribution, etc.) that use sales orders to sell products.

@@annapurnabonakurthi9174 no, pricing management currently only works on sales orders and not sales quotes or purchase orders. Hope that makes sense.
Great explanation. Thank you. I do have an issue around the sales order attribute. On attribute group level I defined several different values. But on the sales order itself, I do see the attribute but I am not able to select my predefined values. The field is greyed out. Any idea how to solve this issue?
Is "can be used as price attribute" set to Yes on these attributes? What is the attribute type?
Thank you for this video. Can you tell me what could be causing the "enable Price attributes" check box to be greyed out on the trade agreement journal setup? The feature has been enabled and I have configured everything as you directed but this is holding me up from moving forward with my testing.
Try creating a new TA journal name under Pricing management/Setup/Trade agreement prices. You should be able to check this box for new journal names.

Not sure what you mean by "group by". There is compounding mode for each price component code.
I'm sorry to bother, but I created trade agreement and show "there are overlaps between the quantity ranges or amount ranges for multiple trade agreements in the lines with errors or warnings". What could be causing this? I used same item with three different attributes at the product basic.

Hi Riad, good question. Sales agreements will override this feature. If you have sales price defined via sales agreement, then it will show up on sales order line and override any sales price defied in Pricing management module.

Yes, I understand now. Currently attribute-based sales price will not be populated on sales agreements or sales quotations, only sales orders. Thay may change with future releases.
Hi Oleksiy - did you do any tests with product masters? The functionality seems a bit buggy related to this.
Hi Cameron, yes, product dimensions selection on TA journal line shows values from all product masters, not only from the one specified on the line which is not ideal. The rest seems ok. Do you have other issues?
@@nextoneconsulting I had an issue with utilizing a category hierarchy in combination with product masters. However I think this is being fixed in future versions.
Hello, on the trade agreement, when I pull in the product basic-line mode of delivery - only one of my values is showing up? Any ideas why this is?
Were these modes of delivery set up in AP/AR or TMS modules?

Yaroslav, that is the thing, you cannot currently do it :( A shortfall of a current version. You can only overwrite it with a new record.
How can I delete posted Trade Agreement Journals?
Don't think it's currently possible. You will have to create new TA line to overwrite the existing one. Hopefully will be addressed in the future release.
