Great video and explanations indeed, thank you so much, sir. I was hoping someone could help me with following question: can you use ATP as the delivery date control and still apply customer specific lead times coming out of their Sales Price Trade Agreement?
Hello, can you explain why using ATP or ATP + issue margin, Requested ship date and Requested receipt date changes according to the ATP time fence setup when there is no stock or not enough stock? For example my customer requests delivery on 05.08.2022, my ATP time fence is 90 days and I have 0 stock of an item plus I do not have any purchase order for the item. Then even when I do not run "simulate delivery dates", both fields Requested ship date and Requested receipt date will be automatically populated with the date 90 days after today. Why there is not original date that was requested by the customer? It causes problem, because the planned PO is generated by the system also with the date 90 days after today. Is it possible to change that so Requested ship date and Requested receipt date are populated with the dates requested by the customer and after running ATP Confirmed ship date and Confirmed receipt date are populated with the dates that we confirm (depending of course how planned purchase order will be confirmed)?
Complex things are discussed in a very good way.
Thank you so much for your effort to explain complex terms in a simple way.
