Great video, Mason. You do such great work when rating and describing different products. Thanks for sharing your wisdom and experiences with us. Much love!
That term "heterotopic ossification" is a very big scientific word. I had to replay that segment about five times and then turn on the captions to make out what you said. And you gave it's definition because you correctly assumed we wouldn't know what it meant. Good on you
So nice to hear that RAZ Design has excellent customer service, and worked with you to find the solutions you needed. You're a great example of being a problem-solver and not a whiner, and are always an inspiration to me. Thank you!
A replacement for my eleven-year-old Raz is going through the process; what do you do when the seat upholstery goes south, replace! I'm not familiar with heterotopic ossification (I'll search) but I'm assuming it emanates from the many injuries sustained in your accident. At five feet ten inches tall, I let my feet dangle wo footrests, largely because I need knee adductors to prevent my knees from flopping outwards when in my pwc, and with footrests, I've not experienced any that extend long enough. After seeing how Raz handled your issue footrests look appealing! Just started using Celtic Sea Salt, Mason. It tastes much better than table salt for cooking purposes and has many benefits, strong bones, included.
Heterotopic ossification is extra bone growth, including in muscle tissue. You haven't found any foot plates that extend long enough to prevent your legs from flopping outwards, even at 5'10''? I've never heard of Celtic Sea Salt. Does it taste different? Thank you for watching and commenting!
I had a non union fracture of my right femur and hip...and the ever so fun heterotopic ossification. Do you know how they fixed it...well, just call me peg leg...lol.
@@masonx54 Mason, you can't have a non union fracture...it leads to other fractures and more fractures and more fractures. Plus the femur and hip were constantly infected and it was only a matter of time when the femoral artery would just go. As it was, it was crushed--AVN.

Yes it is. Ever since learning about heterotopic ossification while in rehab, I have not forgotten it. Thank you for watching and commenting!
I am so happy for you man finding the perfect shower chair is such a blessing...
It really is a game-changer. I didn't think there was any shower chair that was made with quality.

They amputated your leg?
@@masonx54 ...and the hip
@morgancalvi6675 That doesn't seem like the best solution. Lol
