"I've been associated with the company for thirty-six years. Yes, I must have met them when I was about five." Such deadpan. I would love to have a pint with Mr. Rick Wakeman.
Rick Wakeman is probably the best keyboard player around today. He has worked hard at his music and has earned his status as a professional musician. He has brought so much joy and pleasure to many of us through his music.
Oh, so good so see Rick alive and well here. Great sense of British humour and what memories these sounds bring. Wishing you happiness and fun in your ARW tour and so much thanks for all your music and of course Yes music as well.
Don’t they just! Back in 74 it was, I was introduced to Yes by a good friend who was a potter trying to teach me the arcane skills of throwing a well balanced pot. We were on a little farm north of auckland and he had a very good stereo which he’d crank up to crescendo volumes. Ricks organ had a distinct effect on the locals Great memories Great days - and I learnt the art of the pot.
ARW tour was fantastic! Rick’s array of keyboards and sequencing throughout was stellar and magical and full of “how did he do that” moments. Recapturing the essence of all the vintage gear he used to use was there, and it’s cool to get a peek that it was done on a Korg. Of course, the Moog cannot be replaced by anything!
What a legend and inspiration this guy is!!! ...and now he has the same keyboard as ME!! (I just need to learn to play it) Great one Rick and thanks for sharing your amazing talents for all these years - Pete
Another great toy for the master! What a talented keyboardist, and a swell individual! Unbelievably masterful performances on tour, and massive expressive playing. Thank you Rick Wakeman, and thank you Korg. I still love my M1+ ! But I REALLY clobbered over the massive pipe organ on the Kronos!!!!!!!!!!
My first Yes concert, February 1974, TFTO tour, I recall watching Rick Wakeman and getting so freaked out (with a bit of a buzz back then) fingers going at the speed of sound on the keys, a bust of Ludwig Von on his piano, and laughing and enjoying himself immensely. It was so surreal, I thought I must be tripping. Saw about every Yes tour since, except Drama ( which I would loved to have seen), AWBH, union tour, and the first 2 Wakeman tours. This is a classic maestro, and a bit of a humorist. I am so psyched to see ARW in 2 weeks at the Keswick, with awesome seats. So I'm really trying not to watch any Yes videos, listen to their music, especially look at any playlists. Not like my days of my youth. I want this to keep my ears fresh, make this a totally new experience and enjoy every minute of this upcoming concert. Not even hardships were going to prevent me from going and I was so fortunate when the folks at the Keswick notified me that a bunch of tickets for this show opened up. Not even a a delay. Not even an option. 3 of my favorites from Yes (of course Chris would make 4) that I can't wait to see and hear. Thank you Korg for sharing this!
And You and I...travelling life's journeys together, putting the icing on the cake just by playing ANY of your tunes. So uplifting and mood-changing, your genius has made life alot more bearable at times, never far away...aaah YES the memories...of You and I....Thank You. ✌😔

even just fooling around on the Korg ..... Rick sounds amazing. We will see them in Bethlehem PA on Oct 14th 2016. We cannot wait! It will be amazing! To have Jon, Rick, and Trevor together! WOW! Thanks guys for doing this tour
Thank you, Rick... for making so many beautiful worlds that I have so enjoyed exploring since I was young teen. You , Sir... are one of the very coolest dudes... You are plumb chilly, man!

Great presentation Rick! Kudos! I've just sold my Oasys (the beast) and I'm now in the market for a Kronos. Anyway, always an immense pleasure to see you playing. You're and YES are really legends! Missed your show in London on March 24th...pity...
I learned everything from you and Emerson....yes, I'm that old too! I still have my Korg Triton Workstation, but it's getting heavier by the year. I'm looking into getting one of these. If you say you like it, that's good enough for me. Thanks for teaching me all about the colors, sounds, and shapes of playing the keyboards. (A YES fan since the early 70's)
Rick Wakeman #1 forever, he is phenomenal. Also, Korg is the #1 Rock Monster forever... little shoutout to his friend Miek as well. This is a match made in Sakaar.

The biggest surprise so far is that he doesn’t have a ‘Sir Rick Wakeman’ title as yet. Goes to show you that King Arthur didn’t even pull strings for anyone. Shame on you Arfur!
