Thank you 🙏 James ☝️for great 👍🏬🎷🎻🎺🎹🪗🎸🪘🥁🎤🎺jazz music 🎶 once in awhile ☝️and danceable too 💃🏼🕺🏼oh yeah 👏👏👏wishing you all merry Christmas 🎄 with happy new year 🎈🎊🎆👋☮️
Many thanks, James. Another lovely performance from this excellent band. Delicate and restrained, with full attention to the music rather than personal exhibitionism or grandstanding. The tone is set right from Zach's graceful playing of the 4-bar Intro. A great pleasure to see Nanci dancing, too. We know from your videos what a good singer she is. Now we learn she is also a fine dancer.
This is a fine version, much sweeter-sounding in the first half especially than Tuba Skinny's version, When they played it for me at Maison, it was the ultimate!! I saved a couple of old-man tears of gratitude for when I got back to my hotel. I just listened, did not try to record it, and I am glad of that, because it was a once-in-a-lifetime moment I had hoped for, and too precious to waste staring at a phone. Thank you for this video, which I shall certainly save.
At The Maison I've been putting my phone in a hand sized tripod and placing it on the bar so I don't have to hold it. Just have to hit record and stop. Of course that only works if I have the seat at the end of the bar next to the stage.
I am sure she would have if I had asked her. She is always very kind to this old man. But, I know my limitations. I am NOT a dancer. I would embarrass myself, as well as her if I tried to dance. As a matter of fact, I did embarrass myself one night at The Spotted Cat when I was asked to dance by a pretty young lady. Never again!
Always posting great music. Thank you, James.
Great again many thanks

Super! Dans la plus pure tradition du Hot Five! Et quel plaisir de voir ces danseurs! Merci, James, et toujours bonjour de Lausanne😀
It is always good to hear from you, Didier.

2 very lovely and talented ladies. Did you dance one with Ms. Nanci?
