🤣yea, I primarily do game development outside all these videos but really enjoy VFX and figure it can be helpful on the side, the price of JangaFX software ends up working out heaps cheaper than anything else so honestly figured would be something good to become aquainted with especially as it's growing steadily.
i love the tool so far, i really wish there was some sort of blender bridge. The issue i find myself running into right now is, i make something in blender, import it to Liquigen and it's all great and perfect right? but then when i export my liquid simulation (As a mesh, saved as an ABC file) and bring it into blender i can't get the objects to align how they are in liquigen. i even tried going by the measurements in liquigen and trying the exact measurements in blender and it doesn't seem to line up properly?
@@DimiArt ah really, that does sound annoying. Have you tried importing a couple of the objects into liquigen to use as a size normalizer? I believe liquigen on default is fairly large so would need to scale down emitter and stuff
I for the life of me cant figure out how to start will still standing water? Have an object I want to emerge from under the water, with the water being perfectly still until it start approaching the surface.
@@joachimfure8030 unfortunately I believe that is a limitation of the software at the moment. To get around it you need to offset everything till once the liquid is still instead of starting straight away. Fingers crossed they add that soon though, something like frozen until interacted with
@@kiwivi21 Yeah, after googeling around I came to the same conclusion as well! This time I kinda had better results with flip fluids in blender in the end(kinda simple sim), though, obviously not as real time as liquidgen!
@@joachimfure8030 I have also played with Flip Fluids a bit as well and is pretty sick. I do hope they add starting static to Liquigen as thats a pretty big upgrade and something I have seen a good chunk of people want
Hey, if you join the jangafx discord discord.com/invite/jangafx and link your discord to your account on the janga website you will be able to access a channel with the download 👍 if you have any further questions feel free to ask here or join the server and ask one of the staff
@@kiwivi21 super doooper thanx...just linked it...and downloaded the installer...thankyou so very much...only one wuestion is it possible to create any lava interacting with mountains fbx mesh...is any tips...thanx a lot once again...
@fahadhassan3556 glad to hear you got it working, that might be tricky depending on what you are working with but increasing the stickyness of the liquid would be the best bet. I believe there is a preset or something for a volcano like sim
Sorry for the late reply, I believe it's for the most part not fully available to the public due to needing heavy improvements but if you have the jangafx suite you can use it and download it from the customer login page or if you are in the discord
*update there may be a chance you can use it without the suite, as long as you are in the jangafx discord and are a licensed user of anything you should be able to get a trial for it
@TerbrugZondolop thats fair enough. Could make a random account exclusively for the server but otherwise thats the only place they are hosting the download *unless* you have the suite
Something I missed, at 16:50 to add a keyframe you hold shift then click 👍
Beautiful TUTORIAL
This is super cool brother❤ you're really talented 😮 👏🏻
Thank you
thank you
Much appreciated, thank you!
It is interesting how you chose to focus on JangaFX apps and you became some sort of one way stream for it.
