Rogue for quality Titan for affordability I'd pick Titan, then use the extra $$ for other workout shit lol. I like the wobbly comparison at 5:20. Is it pretty solid in comparison with the Rogue rack without the uneven plate holder attachment? Since that plate holder attachment is the reason why it's wobbling right?
Brandon Campbell Diamond what I did to combat the front and bad sway, was waiting until it was assembled but loose and upright before I torqued everything down, that way everything fit together nicely with my floor
I purchased the Titan X-3 Short Flat Foot Power Rack last week and couldn't be happier. It is rock solid and doesn't sway or wobble at all and is not bolted down. Yes the welds are kind of messy and the powder coat isn't very even but at almost half the price of the Rogue I think its a great deal.
I'm seriously considering the flat footed rack. How has it held up? Is it wobbly at all? Do you have it bolted down? Just wondering if anything changed since your original post. Thanks!
Just got my x3 flat foot in this week. Ordered everything Sat morning, rack, pin/pipe safeties, arm safeties, dip attachment, 4 post plate holders. Everything came in by Tue, took 2hrs to assemble in my basement Thur afternoon. Not one scratch, dent, missing piece or decal messed up. Went together easy as pie and looks incredible. Just waiting on the t bar stand on Mon and I'm golden. Will continue with Titan for my equipment needs.
If you aint sponsed by rouge or titan you should be. Because i just purchesed this rack today except the 36in version. The main reason i did is because of the video, i wasn't even considering the x3 at all. Then this review and decided soon as i seen the rack. Thanks. If i hadn't seen this video i wouldnt have got this rack. And would have been mad if i got something els before seeing it.
It's really great that you took the time and gave a fair assessment to Titan. Having someone with a voice actually changing their mind based on new evidence is a really refreshing thing to see. Good on you and another reason why I will continue to trust you on your reviews and opinions. Keep up the good work man.
Easily the best & truly "honest" reviews around. Thanks for talking me into the 36" shorty that FINALLY was back in stock today. Was waiting for the Rep equivalent, but the PR-4000 still hasn't been restocked & was almost 2x the cost with the same config, delivered.
I wound up going with Rogue. I ordered the SML-2 Squat Stand because I can convert it to a half rack at a later date. That saved me a little money up front. I figure buy once cry once. Also, if I decide to sell it, I know the Rogue will have a higher resale value.
Finally moving out of a small apartment and getting a home and can't wait to build a home gym. My current gym has a blend of Titan and Rogue, but most of the racks are rogue. I have been impressed with the Titan gear I have used and was curious how their racks would hold up. While their prices have gone up, it's still way cheaper than Rogue and definitely feels like a good launching off point. Thanks for the great video!
I watched this video and had been battling what rack to get. I loved your remark on how equipment is going to get banged up and isn't going to look pretty. I ended up pulling the trigger on the x3 last year during black friday and have not looked back since. Between your review and now they have definitely cleaned up welds and some of the inconsistencies. I appreciate your honest opinions and reviews on your videos.
I’m a semi serious lifting. I had a rogue rack years ago but sold it for a move. I’m beefing up my current garage and because of this review I went with titan. I’m nervous because of all the horror stories. Thanks for doing these videos. High quality!!!
That's Titan's biggest issue, their consistency. Some people haven't had any issues, others have had only issues. Hope you're the former and not the latter!
Great video Brandon....I’ve been waiting for someone to do a review on the X-3...it appears Titan has really upped their game. Keep up the good work. Love your videos!!
Really thinking of Titan with my next rack purchase. You can get so much more from Titan (I.e. rack, safety strap, mono, extra weight/band pegs) for the price of just a plain rogue ML rack. Plus the money you save on a rack can be put towards more 45’s💪🏽
Hah true that. As stated they do have some inconsistencies with their products so I would just make sure you read up on the other accessories before getting them.
Titan’s quality must have gone up enough for Rogue to at least feel a little threatened by a loss of sales. As of today, if you search “Titan fitness” in google Rogue is now the first option to come up. That hasn’t been the case that I’ve noticed until today.
I love titan fitness, I bought one of their racks for my gym I opened in phoenix AZ called Omega Strong Gym we are mostly a powerlifting gym and the X3 rack has been holding on nicely. I personally prefer rogue for barbells and titan for racks and accessories honestly.
David Gonzalez Torres does the rogue look nice in person ...don't care about scuffs ... Looks nicer than the rogue in the video but maybe it's the color and the actual design
The rack I got looks great, I honestly have nothing bad to say about it. The price was on point and the quality was great from titan. For what it is for, it does the job an ive had people at my gym squat over 500LB or even fail on it and its good.
@@gurpalsingh3695 hey there good question, my racks still going strong with no issues. Still holding up strong both my X-3 and X-2. Recently bought another X-2 and I could tell the quality increased tremendously from their previous racks. I'm very happy with all
Great vid Brandon!! Cemented my decision to go with the X3 stands with extension. Also the adjustable monolifts and weight horns. Been very happy with it. Dont believe the Titan hate people...
I find it great to see a company like Titan come around. Lower priced, good quality equipment is a boon to not just homegym folks but also non-profit private schools and gym owners looking to save money.
im building my own rack .. drawing it in solidedge right now ... i can cut tubes with laser bend sheet metal weld and professionally paint everything, the only thing ill find difficult is the uhmw coating of some parts if i want everything to be perfect or i could just let everything in raw metal since its easier and is just for personal garage use .. need to buy a new bench barebell and wiehgts tho q.q
Thanks for the reviews once u started talking about Titan a week or so ago . I looked at Titan for the 1st time in a long time.I got the short yoke a set of farmers handles and a 100 lb sand bag for $375 dollars. Didn’t pay a dime in shipping and got it in two days!
I noticed at about 2:35 in the video, for squats your j hooks are on the opposite sides of the rack as the extension. I am assuming this is because the weights on the bar and the weights on rack would collide when racking the bar. So what would you do to bench? Is "forward racking" a bench a thing? Just wondering if you have any insight on these or other solutions to this issue...Thanks for your time!
In this case I benched with my feet towards the wall. Another solution would be to move the plate storage pegs to spots that wouldn't interfere with a back rack.
Things have changed a lot they now have colors for the bolted down version and the safety pins and the 4 plate holders are sold separately now. X-3 is nice just hoping for some kind of functional trainer attachment in the near future.
Good review I've been thinking about getting a half or power rack for awhile. After looking at your video I might consider Titan, just can't decide if I want T-2, T-3, X-2 or X-3. Once I compare the difference between the 4 I will hopefully pick my poison.
Good review. I defiantly bolted mine down, made a big difference. I'm with you on the J-cups... hate them from Titan. I ended up up just using Rouge J-Hooks on the Titan rack.
That would be a good idea. It was a large selling point for me since I have the Y-1 Rogue Yoke with attachments. I like that the Titan Mono attachment works with my Rogue Yoke and that the Rogue J-cups and Rogue spotter arms work with my T-6. It's actually one of the reasons I bought the rack and upgraded form my EliteFTS 2x2 rack. Also mine is painted, I guess the new ones have the powder coat. I actually like that it's painted due to the ease of spray paint repairs.... My EliteFTS rack had a shit powder coat job that flaked and I ended up taking 4 hours one day to wire wheel it all off and paint it.
For some reason my rack extension the 24 inch after all hooked up was a good 1/2-3/4 inch off level then the rack so now it rocks back and forth Odeon the middle feet.
Going to weld a squat rack for myself. Stronger than hardware holding it together, only downside is I wouldn't be able to break it down if I needed to move. Nothing a angle grinder cant cut though.
I have the Titan X3. shit doesn't line up, but it works and doesn't look like it'll tip over because of that. go with Rogue to avoid headaches, get Titan if you are poor and cross your fingers the pieces line up properly.
The original video about this rack complained about the monolift on this rack, and the landmine. Why wasn't this discussed? I'm on the fence with buying the short 24" and want to make sure I'm not missing anything
Wasn't discussed b/c the review was for the rack itself and not for the attachments. I did a separate review on the monolifts. What questions did you have?
Thanks for the reply. In the other video you implied the monolift forced you into a position you didn't like in the skinnier X3. What I'm most curious about is if you've ever had any issues with the short style rack (like being able to attach things high enough, or risking hitting your head, or anything you miss out on by having the short rack version)
Things were doable for me (being 6'4") but they were tight. Depending on how tall you are you might have similar issues. If you're shorter than I however I don't imagine it to be an issue.
Man really cool to have you review the exact rack that i've been wanting. Glad to hear a good review from you because I know you can be a tad picky on certain things and like things a certain way which i get. Ready to win that sucker and send u a silver sharpie so you can sign it for me. then i'll have an interesting story to tell my kids when they ask about it
I just got the X3 36" deep...got most of boxes Friday. Was missing one box which included a set of posts so couldn't set it up...today got final box...but it only had one Post. WTF! How do u forget to pack the second post? Just emailed their support. Wish me luck. Guess I have to wait another week before I pop a squat in this Chinese bad boy.
Brandon: I just got my X3 thanks to you! I agree it is a great value although not perfect but certainly good enough for my home use. I noticed that they used to have in production a cable attachment for it. It seems like it is no longer available. Do you use Cables at all, for things like a seated cable row? Any ideas for cable attachments, hopefully not a completely separate machine? I could just attach resistance bands to the rack too I suppose.
@@BasementBrandon That $90 pulley package I believe is out of production. It is "sold out" and I believe from the reviews I have seen it was a lousy design (cables rub, etc). Maybe I will just wait to see if they make it again but it does appear that they no longer have it available.
great vid, decided to buy the 36 inch depth version of this rack today!!!! p.s. the reason the power coating is different is because it is supposed to be used for the flat foot version which has a different power coating and color than this rack.
Non related topic. :) If I do rack pulls (underhand) and just hold the weight for 30 seconds will that assist in back and bicep growth? I don’t room for FW or I would do that workout. Thx
I’m currently looking at buying a rack for my garage, and was about to pull the trigger on a Rogue rack...until I saw your vid. Your input just saved me a ton of $$$! Definitely grateful, and definitely subbed 👍🏼 Great review and quality vid...keep em coming brother!
Would really like to see someone do a hands on review of valor's racks. I can't find a single one on UA-cam other than from valor fitness themselves. They look sturdy.
I've used one of their 2x2 racks in a gym and I wasn't a big fan. I thought I was going to die during squats, but it could be just the way it was bolted together and held to the floor.
I'm guessing that if you had the X3 with weight attachment as opposed to the add on there would no sway... Seems like very popular as all the racks I'm interested in sold out
I had the same problem of wobblyness on my X3 short flat foot. I loosened all nuts/bolts and tightened them from top down. That did the trick. Turned out one overly tightened bolt caused most of the wobble. WTF?!? 🤔 Solid as a tank now. 👌😎
Do the Titan X3 J-cups fit your RML? I have an RML and want to buy another pair of j-cups and wouldn't mind saving the $$. I am also curious if the Titan safety spotter arms would also fit an RML rack. Thanks for all reviews!
Hey Brandon, if you still peruse old videos, here's a quick Q: I'm 6'5"= will this rack be too short for me? I see the top of the upright is 82" but the pull-up bar is only 76 inches, and the top j-hook hole looks to be a bit lower so I am wondering how close you are to maxing it out
I don't think so, but it depends. I'm a shade under 6'4" and still had 3 more holes I could have used to raise the j-cup, but I squat low bar, so if you're a high bar squatter it may be close.
would u rather go with the x3 short flatfoot or the x3 short(non flatfoot) 36 depth? im not looking to bolt down and wondering if the x3 short 36 depth would be sturdy enough without the extension.
If you're not looking to bolt or go extension, I think the flat foot version might be best. You could always build a platform and bolt it to that instead of your concrete if need be.
The official site has the short rack as 82 inches, so I assume they increased the height of it after this video was posted. I have a limit of 84 inches in the space I have. With the multi grip pull up bar, how tall would it be? The site says the attachment point would be 77 inches, plus 6.5inches. So it’d be 83.5. Does anyone know if this is correct?
Back here watching this review for the 20th time, thinking about posting my own of the X-3 Flat Foot variant with some accessories I just received in the mail.
Can you tell me what all pieces you added on to the base rack? Im looking to get exactly what you have. Also are you able to do rack pulls safely from it? I like the landmine attachment too!
Yes, did you purchase the rack and then purchase the mono lift add on, extra pegs, and straps, and the landmine attachment. You purchase all of the separately correct?
Im considering buying the X-3 (flatfoot) version now would you say the extension is necessary? Also you said that as time goes on the quality of their products is increasimg would you recommend waiting a little while as these small things improve or should i just go ahead and buy it now?
Brandon, I need your help. I have the flat foot one (30-inch depth) with pin-pipe safeties. I wanted to get the strap safeties, but straps for the 30-inch depth seems very saggy. Can I get the 24-inch strap safeties and fit in in my rack? I feel this might solve the saggy problem.
I would see if you can find out the length of the straps they use for the 24" first. You could also buy straps from someone like Spud Inc that will fit better.
Probably Rogue, your budget Roge home gym video is now my blueprint for when I set up a home gym, Titan seems like it is getting better but still seems kinda sketchy (like being found dead in your garage sketchy)
I know this is an old video, but i figure id update a couple things...first, titan has greatly increased their rack prices from 3 yrs ago (some increase is to be expected). More importantly, all those xtras...are no longer included (band pegs, plate holders)shockingly, now titan is not even giving you pipe safeties anymore with the purchase of a new rack...what major manufacture of power racks doesnt include safeties? I dont know of any
Hey I'm sorry to bug you but have a problem on my hands , how hard would it be to shorten this rack things have gotten crazy and have to move to a smaller place with lower ceilings , by looking at the rack doesn't seem like it would be that hard , what do you think cannot afford to just buy another rack
I ordered the X3 flat foot 91 tall and its coming tomorrow. Sad thing is I found you can't do band work because there aren't any holes in the bottom brackets for the band pegs. Do you currently have a workaround?
If I got the titan x3 flat foot. Could my wife and I use it at the same time? I was think about each taking a side for squats/ pull ups. We want to do crossfit workouts together. If it wouldn't work I'll get an additional squat stand with a pull up bar
Mr Brandon, I want to get an x3 just for benching. Kind of the way you have a separate bench. Since you had the bolt down version, I wonder if you have any thoughts on the flat foot version? Thanks man. And I hadn’t seen any of your earlier videos like this one. You looked perty big, man. 💪🏽
Unfortunately this rack has been out of stock for a long time. Doesn’t seem like it’ll be in stock anytime soon. I wanted to buy this particular rack do to having a low ceiling. But since it’s been out of stock I had to go with Fray Fitness short rack 😔 If it doesn’t meet my expectations I’ll sell it and just continue waiting for the Titan X3
Brandon thinking about getting the titant x3 and add the 2 stabilizer feet attachments you have on your current monster set up ... would u say titants a better company in 2019
What's the hole size on the titan X-3 foldable rack? It's it 5/8 or 1' iam trying to get some rogue leg rollers and don't know which size one to get? Also trying to buy strwngh stay dog goat attachment but iam not sure if I should get the 1" or 5/8?
On your video you mentioned that all RML attachments fit the X-3 rack. So this means if I wanna get a leg roller I have to go with the one that mounts like a j cup. I wanted the leg rollers that have the round adjustable bolt bit I guess they won't fit. Also trying to buy the strwngh stray dog goat attachment which they have the 5/8 snd 1" option at checkout. However their adjastable rollers will only fit 1" racks I think. I emailed titan, rogue and stray dog but have not gotten any reply back yet
the price of the titan racks are tempting, but i'm definitely set on buying a rogue rack when the time comes because i know i am gonna be happy with the quality of the rack. I'm not gonna chance getting a bad rack. Buy once, cry once.
I like it my man. It is great to see a company like Titan Fitness on the market. There products are SUPER affordable. Btw, are you a personal trainer /strength coach for your profession?
Are the attachments from the X3 comparable to the rml-490? If not why Titan rack is compatible? I want to get the rogue rack but want to get attachments from Titan Thanks in advance!
What is the real difference between the X.3 and the T3 aside from it being 3 x 3 steel uprights vs 2x2? Are the T3 accessories compatible to the X.3? I’m looking to purchase one of the racks but want to get some more info first
I see you added safety straps instead of pin and pipe. The titan website does not have any for this rack. Did you use the Rogue 30" straps or something else??
Depending on where you had the plates and what you were doing inside the rack, maybe. Although I just made sure to rack the weights on the furthest end from the plate storage and didn't have an issue.
Hey, I'm considering buying a Titan X-3 rack for my garage. I can't decide on which height to get, 90 or the shorty 80. My ceiling is 98 inches high (8'2"). My reservation is with pull-ups and if I'll have enough room with the 90in rack. Which one would you recommend?
Thank you for the review, just picked up the X3 short 36in depth, where did you pick up the straps? I cannot seem to find them on titan's website. Thanks in advance for any info.
Titan or Rogue, who would you pick? If I had to do it all over again it would be a more difficult decision than before.
Brandon Campbell Diamond
Why did you get two racks for?
Rogue for quality
Titan for affordability
I'd pick Titan, then use the extra $$ for other workout shit lol.
I like the wobbly comparison at 5:20. Is it pretty solid in comparison with the Rogue rack without the uneven plate holder attachment? Since that plate holder attachment is the reason why it's wobbling right?
Rogue Bars all they way. Titan Racks though.
Brandon Campbell Diamond what I did to combat the front and bad sway, was waiting until it was assembled but loose and upright before I torqued everything down, that way everything fit together nicely with my floor
I would definitely go with titan's. Much more affordable and allows you to put the money saved to other fun toys for your home gym 😈💪🏼
Do more of these videos dude. I’m sure you’re not always getting quality stuff sent to you for free, but your reviews are the BEST.
Thanks Dan!

It's alright Rogue isnt always spot on with their welds either. I bought a stubby axle barbell and the welds on that thing are garbage.

Looking to get the x3 flatfoot 700 shipped, or rogues flat-footed for 1400 shipped, or a rep fitness for 1300 shipped can't decide
I'd prog go X3 and spend the left over on more gear unless you specifically want the other brand.
the rack of the minute 0:57 what measure are the square pipes and how thick? thanks greetings
The pipes are round, not sure of the thickness offhand but might be able to find it on Titan's site.
For some reason my rack extension the 24 inch after all hooked up was a good 1/2-3/4 inch off level then the rack so now it rocks back and forth Odeon the middle feet.
Might help to loosen all the bolts, let the rack settle, then go back and tighten things up
Going to weld a squat rack for myself. Stronger than hardware holding it together, only downside is I wouldn't be able to break it down if I needed to move. Nothing a angle grinder cant cut though.
Good luck!
I can't make up my mind between Rogue or Reflex. The finish on Reflex looks outstanding! Plus a shit ton of options as well.
Def tough choices!
I have the Titan X3. shit doesn't line up, but it works and doesn't look like it'll tip over because of that. go with Rogue to avoid headaches, get Titan if you are poor and cross your fingers the pieces line up properly.
Have you tried loosening the bolts and letting it settle and then retigthening?
I have the t2 rack from Titan and I really love it.
phillip woodfin I bought the T2 3.5 years ago and wish I would've waited because I really like the T6. I would definitely like to reinvest lol
awesome to hear!
The T2 is so cheap you should be able to afford a new one by now!
Thanks for this quick and concise review.
No problem!
Where did you find the mount for back lat pulls? Time on video is at 3:52.
It's just a tbar grip handle from rogue on one end and a landmine on the other.
Man really cool to have you review the exact rack that i've been wanting. Glad to hear a good review from you because I know you can be a tad picky on certain things and like things a certain way which i get. Ready to win that sucker and send u a silver sharpie so you can sign it for me. then i'll have an interesting story to tell my kids when they ask about it
I would probably look at the 36" depth over this. I feel like it's a better fit for not much added cost!
Sadly this is not an uncommon experience.
I purchased the Titan X3 after watching your video. I attempted to use the link that you provided however, it wasn't working. Great review.
Ah they re did their site a year or so back so maybe updated their urls. Hope you enjoy it, it's a solid rack!
Glad to hear! They have a pulley package they sell for around $90 I believe. Is that what you mean?
@@BasementBrandon That $90 pulley package I believe is out of production. It is "sold out" and I believe from the reviews I have seen it was a lousy design (cables rub, etc). Maybe I will just wait to see if they make it again but it does appear that they no longer have it available.
great vid, decided to buy the 36 inch depth version of this rack today!!!!
p.s. the reason the power coating is different is because it is supposed to be used for the flat foot version which has a different power coating and color than this rack.
Right on!
Non related topic. :) If I do rack pulls (underhand) and just hold the weight for 30 seconds will that assist in back and bicep growth? I don’t room for FW or I would do that workout. Thx
I don't think static holds will help as much as progressive overload.
I’m currently looking at buying a rack for my garage, and was about to pull the trigger on a Rogue rack...until I saw your vid. Your input just saved me a ton of $$$! Definitely grateful, and definitely subbed 👍🏼 Great review and quality vid...keep em coming brother!
Mark M
What'd you end up spending on all that?
Thanks Mark
You and Leo Pando have been picking up more Titan Equipment... Maybe I'll revisit their stuff, give them another chance?...
It's still hit or miss, but at the price point it's hard to stay away from.
What size sockets and wrenches did you use to tighten the nuts and bolts on the X3? Thanks for the video!
17mm!
Seems like very popular as all the racks I'm interested in sold out
It wobbled before I put the extension on. I'm going to loosen the bolts and retighten and see if I can fix it.
I had the same problem of wobblyness on my X3 short flat foot. I loosened all nuts/bolts and tightened them from top down. That did the trick. Turned out one overly tightened bolt caused most of the wobble. WTF?!? 🤔 Solid as a tank now. 👌😎
Great stuff again as always. Thanks for doing this. I've got a rml3 flat foot. Does titan have rack accessories that are compatible?
I don't think they all are. Maybe I'll do a follow up video.
Do the Titan X3 J-cups fit your RML? I have an RML and want to buy another pair of j-cups and wouldn't mind saving the $$. I am also curious if the Titan safety spotter arms would also fit an RML rack. Thanks for all reviews!
Well, those prices have almost doubled since you made this videos. Everything has gone up.
Materials have really gone up a ton since 2020
I have the titan T2 rack and its perfect for my shed gym.
awesome!
Great video! Are the uprights a TRUE 3x3 in dimension? Im looking to add the BoS hydra lever arms.
No, they end up being like 2.96" or whatever the metric equivalent is.
I'm a shade under 6'4" and still had 3 more holes I could have used to raise the j-cup, but I squat low bar, so if you're a high bar squatter it may be close.
would u rather go with the x3 short flatfoot or the x3 short(non flatfoot) 36 depth?
im not looking to bolt down and wondering if the x3 short 36 depth would be sturdy
enough without the extension.
I'd reach out to them directly. I've also seen people mount those bars upside down if overhead space is limited.
Back here watching this review for the 20th time, thinking about posting my own of the X-3 Flat Foot variant with some accessories I just received in the mail.
do it to it
Can you tell me what all pieces you added on to the base rack? Im looking to get exactly what you have. Also are you able to do rack pulls safely from it? I like the landmine attachment too!
Not sure what you mean by the pieces added to the base of the rack, can you clarify?
Yes, did you purchase the rack and then purchase the mono lift add on, extra pegs, and straps, and the landmine attachment. You purchase all of the separately correct?
Im considering buying the X-3 (flatfoot) version now would you say the extension is necessary? Also you said that as time goes on the quality of their products is increasimg would you recommend waiting a little while as these small things improve or should i just go ahead and buy it now?
I don't think I'd likely get the ext kit unless you're going with the 24" depth rack, which I likely wouldn't do anyways.
@@BasementBrandon Thanks so much
Are the holes on x-3 flat foot uprights aligned with bolted down version? Planning to get bolted down version extension kit for flat foot rack.
I'm not sure tbh
Probably Rogue, your budget Roge home gym video is now my blueprint for when I set up a home gym, Titan seems like it is getting better but still seems kinda sketchy (like being found dead in your garage sketchy)
Lol right on!
I dont know of any
That is quite a bummer
Hey I'm sorry to bug you but have a problem on my hands , how hard would it be to shorten this rack things have gotten crazy and have to move to a smaller place with lower ceilings , by looking at the rack doesn't seem like it would be that hard , what do you think cannot afford to just buy another rack
Like as in height? Would prob just need an angle grinder.
I ordered the X3 flat foot 91 tall and its coming tomorrow. Sad thing is I found you can't do band work because there aren't any holes in the bottom brackets for the band pegs. Do you currently have a workaround?
You can just loop the bands around the crossmembers
If I got the titan x3 flat foot. Could my wife and I use it at the same time? I was think about each taking a side for squats/ pull ups. We want to do crossfit workouts together. If it wouldn't work I'll get an additional squat stand with a pull up bar
I think it could work if you got a deep enough X3 and had space on either end outside of the rack.
Good review, It would've been cool to see you review the spotter arms too. What's your take on spotter arms on a half rack instead of a full rack?
ah they didn't send me any. I prefer to train in a rack, but before building my own gym I trained in a half rack with spotter arms, so it can be done!
What are some of the pros and cons? Do you think the full rack is just safer?
I think the biggest con is that there is still room for it to not catch the bar on a failed lift.
Mr Brandon,
I want to get an x3 just for benching. Kind of the way you have a separate bench. Since you had the bolt down version, I wonder if you have any thoughts on the flat foot version? Thanks man. And I hadn’t seen any of your earlier videos like this one. You looked perty big, man. 💪🏽
Should be pretty similar!
Curious to know if the titan fitness X-3 mono-lift attachment would fit on my rogue RML 490 rack. Do the holes line up?
The bottom holes where you can put in a second pin do not line up, however they are not necessary IMO.
Tough time to be a buyer
I wonder if the Titan 10” extension kit would work with the Rogue Monster Lite flat foot??
I tend to think not
the blue seems to be much firmer and there is a difference in the quality of the weld seams
My blue rack is also a lot bigger in foot print which helps, and has a lot more weight on it.
Brandon thinking about getting the titant x3 and add the 2 stabilizer feet attachments you have on your current monster set up ... would u say titants a better company in 2019
Yes, they still have their shipping issues and quality control is still hit or miss, but they offer great value for the price.
Appreciate the review!!
Have you tried the titan pulley attachments compared to rogue?
I have not yet.
X-3 is the metric equivalent of 5/8"
@@BasementBrandon thank u
Mmmmmm they may have a new customer. Good review B
Thanks for taking a look
Can you do a follow up update on the Titan X3, how are you liking it after 10 months of use?
Sold it to a buddy as I don't need 2 racks, but it's holding up fine. Few dings and scratches, but that happens to all racks over time.
checking it out, thanks for telling me....
Sure thing
the price of the titan racks are tempting, but i'm definitely set on buying a rogue rack when the time comes because i know i am gonna be happy with the quality of the rack. I'm not gonna chance getting a bad rack. Buy once, cry once.
Agreed
You said that your rogue attachments attach to the Titan rack. Will Titan fitness x3 accessories attach to a monster lite racks?
It's all very consistent b/c Titan's stuff isn't always the same size.
Since you've worked out at Seattle Fitness, I'm assuming the X3 is better than the old squat rack there right?
Anything is better than that squat rack lol
thanks for the video. i just purchased one.
Nice! Hope you enjoy!
Great review B!!
Thanks Bri
Do you think this rack would hold up if used outdoors? Or is there a recommendation for a backyard setup
Eh I don't think any would hold up that well in terms of rust
Brandon Campbell Diamond thanks for the reply - that’s what I was thinking and most concerned about.
Please do a review of the new rouge ohio deadlift bar!!!!
I have a TDB, not sure I will pick up a Rogue version
Hey Great VideosDo you know the differences between the different series of Titan Racks? The website is terrible.
it really comes down to the post size and holes.
I like it my man. It is great to see a company like Titan Fitness on the market. There products are SUPER affordable. Btw, are you a personal trainer /strength coach for your profession?
I'm not, just do these videos for fun.
Brandon Campbell Diamond
Cool man, so all in all if the rouge rack is a 10 from 1-10, how would the titan rack comparatively fare on the same scale?
Ousama Abdu I would say 7-8
Are the attachments from the X3 comparable to the rml-490?
If not why Titan rack is compatible? I want to get the rogue rack but want to get attachments from Titan
Thanks in advance!
Some work and some don't. There's an online list somewhere that helps show what's been tested.
Can you take a look at some squat rack set ups???
I'll be doing a review on the StrengthShop Yoke/Squat stand soon.
What is the real difference between the X.3 and the T3 aside from it being 3 x 3 steel uprights vs 2x2? Are the T3 accessories compatible to the X.3? I’m looking to purchase one of the racks but want to get some more info first
3x3 bs 2x2 is pretty different. Accessories would not be able to be interchangeable bc of this.
Brandon Campbell Diamond how about the 3x2 and 3x3? That’s what I originally meant
Still not compatible. The bigger rack will have high tolerances, but both are more than you'd likely ever be able to lift.
I see you added safety straps instead of pin and pipe. The titan website does not have any for this rack. Did you use the Rogue 30" straps or something else??
Titan currently has a recall on their straps due to failure issues, so they've taken them off the site.
Do you know if the rogue straps would work on this rack?? if so would it be the 30" or 43" version??
Packdevil really don’t know tbh
Ok thanks anyway.
I highly recommend the rogue R-3BT
Right on
Quick question. Is the hole spacing the same as rogues. I’m curious to know if my rogue monilifts will fit the X-3. Thanks.
I find they're close, but not a perfect match
Thanks man, awesome review
Thanks David
Is the 10" extension too short to be useful for plate storage? It seems like it would be.
Depending on where you had the plates and what you were doing inside the rack, maybe. Although I just made sure to rack the weights on the furthest end from the plate storage and didn't have an issue.
Do you still own the Titan X3? I haven't seen it in any of your recent videos. Thinking about getting the 36'' one or the T6. Thanks.
No, I gave it to a friend, don't need 2 racks and my Rogue one was more fitting. Still a good rack.
I think the 8 inches will be plenty as long as you're not doing muscle ups.
Brandon Campbell Diamond Alright. Thanks for getting back to me. No muscle ups for this guy lol.
Thank you for the review, just picked up the X3 short 36in depth, where did you pick up the straps? I cannot seem to find them on titan's website. Thanks in advance for any info.
They are re-engineering them and should be out soon.
What did you think of the Titan X3 short 36in depth rack ? I'm thinking about buying it!
@@gurpalsingh3695 Love it..Glad I went with that model. I dont have it bolted down, but still holds rock solid on my garage floor. Hope this helps.
@@kwmulligan Did you put any Rogue attachments on it ? Wondering if they fit and work well?
@@gurpalsingh3695 no..I got Titan gear..rogue wants way too much money. I did buy an Ohio bar from them..don't go cheap with barbells
