This video is great! Always get a bit confused! Best thing is I’ve just bought a Thruxton R so this is even better! I subscribed!
My guy! 👊 much appreciated.
definitely enjoy videos of your thruxton 1200, contemplating selling my 2015 thrux 900 for a white 1200 standard like yours.
Thanks. More power, better handling. The 900 is more linear power, more raw. The 900 is a great bike too. 👍
Hey I just saw you in your twin turbo Supra I was in a Ford dually I love your car😍😍😍
Thanks big man. 👍
Going to be that guy…shouldn’t you check chain tension whilst sitting on the bike so it’s under compression?
More than one way to do it. 7 year old bike, still on the original chain, no issues. It works without sitting on the bike and checking it. 🤙
Hi! Very useful video! Would you know if the chain of the thruxton 1200 is X ring or O ring?
Thanks bro. O-ring.
Where do you get the rear stand bobbins?
I have a 2022 Bonneville T120
Amazon
*triumph. Those are triumph not Amazon.
Thank you so much. I'll have to get the swing arm style Woodcraft paddock stand. No bobbin/spool bosses on my Bonnie.
btw, where are you located?
I'm in San Diego, California.
@@marekryszard cool. Houston. If you're ever this way, hit me up.
I have a 2022 Bonneville. What size is that axle nut?
27
Should check the chain tension in a few spots along the chain as chains never wear uniformly. The tightest part of the chain should be within specs. You can buy various tools to check if the chain is straight. That is one mighty clean chain and sprocket :) Here in the UK we rarely have dry days so our bikes get dirtier due to water on the roads and not only that, our roads are full of potholes.
I appreciate the advice. However, I'm meticulous and have been about my bikes. Chains never wear out in me. They get oiled after every ride and adjusted accordingly. Zero tight spots. 🤙
@@dorian_vlogs You're welcome. I just though I would pass on the advice another you tuber pointed out. Surely all chains wear unevenly and end up with a tight and slack spot after a few thousand miles even with maintenance. I oil mine regularly nearly after every ride and clean it around every 500 miles but I still get tight/loose spots. I do appreciate You Tubers like yourself though as you make life easier for us when we want to see how something is done if we haven't done it before. The roads here are more congested than over there and more potholed not to mention the weather. Americans are very lucky with the amount of space their country has to ride in and the decent weather in a lot of states.
@TheRealMaturecheese we do have pretty good roads. I appreciate the love brother. What part of the world do you call home?
@@dorian_vlogs S Wales UK Cheers mate
You tighten it too much, chain needs to go up and down min 2cm. 2,5cm is optimum
