great vid! i'm looking into getting a 2007 Ducati Sport Classic GT1000 here local to me. like you, I also have a Z900RS - which has some mods you posted on one of your other videos. I feel they can be comparable as both are naked bikes and have an upright riding position. anyway, how would you compare the GT1000 to the Z900RS? curious to hear your thoughts on the comparison. cheers!

You need to reset the forks to fix that turn in to the R!

Nice video. I love the non-R Thruxton, looks much more classic. I've been debating about buying the Classic (or S) or the R, because I like to do some quick driving in the twisties, but you being very positive about the bike in its standard form takes my doubts away. I'm going to look for the non-R versions!

Great bike. I have a 2009 gt 1000 with the termi's. Sounds awesome with impressive torque. Only gripe is the tubed wheels which I intend to rectify 👌

Im a new owner of a 24 model. I appreciate owners showing off mods they like. Good job. I like old school so i like your decision on changing the stock turn signals out. The radiator cap really bothers me and there is some nice caps for that (i just ordered from alliexpress). I think you inspired me to so a similar video of the mods that i got on the bike. Cheers !

It’s pretty easy to drop the whole unit out and makes it vastly easier to cut pipe. I used a diamond wheel on a 4” grinder and made it a breeze. My cross pipe needed mods didn’t fit right but I’m a weldor so it turned out cool. It looks great and sounds not too loud. Drop that ugly heavy bread box out is so worth it.😊

For me the radiator needs refining....they could have designed one to fit between the frame downtubes or w.h.y. Also had old steel head and barrel shape.That is finned head wider than the barrel

Like from brazil. I would not cut de exaust, i would change it for other, just to keep the original Anyway, pretty sound.

Bonneville 2011, sometimes it would not start, dealer says the switch is marginal. I have to pull the clutch all the way in. I pull the clutch already as a habit, it bothers me to pull all the way in. So I will "neutralize" this switch one way or the other. Also, this little "safety device" (safety against what?) can get you stranded in the middle of nowhere if it failed.
