Beware: If you buy 3.5mm, the mic won't work on Android or Windows. Not even with a CTIA/OMTP adapter. You need to buy Apple's 3.5mm to USB-C adapter or buy the USB-C Earpods. If your computer doesn't have a USB-C port, get yourself a USB-C to USB-A adapter. The mic and buttons should work then.
I am watching you from Turkey, Bro. You did me a big favor. This microphone quality is better than all gaming headsets microphones. Because I watched every and hearded them 😅 I will buy this earbud. The only thing that matters to me is the microphone quality.
@@hemantchettri07 It's terrible for the price. Even a $20 Koss headphone beats this headset. With a separate microphone of Marantz MPM1000U USB for $50, you have a 10x better setup. There are even more cheaper options for microphones.
I just got a pair of wired Apple Earbuds for my iPhone 14. When tried using either pair for phone calls, both times the people I called told me my voice sounded muffled. The earbuds aren't dirty because they're brand new. A Mac tech confided in me that the microphones are purposely made faulty to get people to buy the much more expensive wireless earbuds. I just want a headset with a good microphone I can use iPhone 14 so I don't have to hold the phone to my ear. With my old iPhone 6, I used a good headset that came with the mini jack. But there are no good headsets (with a microphone) I can find that have a lightning jack.
you just got unlucky, ask for a replacement. This EarPods have been working great for almost a decade now. I just got myself, my little sister and a friend the new Usb-c version and we all got fully functional units.

the mic wont work, OR is it just the buttons wont work?
@@SupidashJason They both won't work. Only audio will come out.
Will the mic works if i use 3.5 to usb c cable for my android?
I have the 3.5mm one plugged directly to my Windows laptop and the mic works just fine.
@@jsBANDOLERO Maybe you have a non-standard CTIA port
This mic sounds great

How does it compare to the Airpods Pro microphone?
AirPods Pro Mic is just shit
The AirPods microphone is terrible. It’s far from the mouth and makes voices sound funny and robotic.
