4Kenn's mom comforting him has to be the most wholesome thing I've seen yet. What a crazy play from both teams. They may not have won the match, but they certainly left a memorable impression.
I tried a completely different editing style that has not been done before in osu! documentaries. Introducing: Player Interviews! This project took 6 months of planning, executing, communicating and editing. I hope you can overlook some of the mistakes and enjoy the video! Another huge shoutout and thank you to the players that approved their voices to be heard through my video and dealing with my constant asks for recordings and script reading. Thank you for being patient and cooperative with me! I hope you too enjoy the work I produced. As always, if you enjoyed, please consider subscribing (we are so close to 10k!) and also checking out my content! And if you're feeling extra generous, consider joining my membership to support a broke university student! But that's all from me, hope the wait was worth it!!
finally, after so long there's an osu!mania content creator lmao. the mania content scene is so bad other than a few people that already quit or just upload scores, but bro just comes outa nowhere and makes some of the best vsrg and maybe even rhythm game content in general. great job man
This was the most tense tie breaker I had ever watched in my life. Was so nice to see the players perspectives. Was so wholesome to see 4kens and gaesols parents comforting and cheering them on!. This was such a good match even though the Philippines lost they did their best maybe this year MWC 2023 they might have a good shot at winning. Respect to all the players and thank you for the great translations, great editing and documenting Osu! Mania History.
Absolutely amazing production quality, love the interview from the players, just adds so much more value to the matches. Thanks for bringing to light such awesome mania events with such engaging content!
damn bro well edited video, i rmb i was there when this match was live and when the finals ended up in south korea winning by 200 points i was so shocked and i felt bad for the phillipines. But everyone did their best even under the pressure of performing live, anyways thanks for putting this video up !
One of the best Osu! video on this website hands down, really showed you care for the quality and even bringing the players in. It was a mixed experience for me, since this match i was supporting both teams. But this MWC is definitely one of my favorites one so far. Keep up the content man, can't wait for your next video to come out.
this was a great video, its interesting hearing from all the players how it felt to be in such a close tournament really crazy how the tiebreaker ended in a point difference below 300, absolutely insane
i've really respected every player in mania, i'm confident to say that MWC could have it's own anime if it can, this is quite possibly the most unfortunate loss for the philippines, very sad that i couldn't watch it, but i wasn't paying attention, hence my rank in mania, but overall this is the most interesting/intense video in mania that i've seen so far, this video is very good with alot of info on player's feelings and overall mindset during the MWC 2022 tournament SF, plus the aftermath interviews at the end showed exactly how the players felt and i do think that the philippines can win again in next years MWC, MWC2024. anyways from an osu standard players view, this video was very good and i enjoyed every second of it, very happy that the philippines can win in this years MWC. anyways i've typed alot so much love and stay strong osu gamers
This video was so cool to see because it really hit home for me with the amount of raw emotion there is for this game in this video. Many people don't take Osu! serious they find it a dumb way to spend time but to many of us to finally reach someplace to be able to prove ourselves on a stage made for us means the world for us. The moment 4kenn and gaesol talked about their parents being supportive really hit me aswell. Sometimes we forget how loving they can be even if they don't really understand what we are doing :). Also the humility that SnowScent had in the end of this video was amazing it makes me super happy that these moments still exist in Osu! even if I am not at home within the Mania community. Major respect to all of the players of the Philippines and South Korea for being so open in sharing their experience and thoughts on this match and thanks to Kibitz for the great story telling. This video was a banger :)
bro that was intense! sure there's bitterness in losing but damn you guys made me very proud for putting up a masterclass fight! Rooting for you! GGWP. You guys are beasts! 🇵🇭
I trust they can make it to the Finals or Grand Finals this year. Kibitz, can you make a documentary of the MWC2022 Grand Finals Match? It would be nice... I think
I remember stumbling into this live match, the moment Vulpsi disconnected paused my heart as I was wondering who won that round, and the buildup to the TB was amazing, truly an amazing match during that year.
I love this thank you for bringing more attention to the community. You've made me want to be better and I've raised rank by 90000 almost now thanks alot.
I honestly feel really bad for Philippines, despite having 295 points away to winning, they got 4th place in any other way, but it was still a great match, South Korea still did well and infact defeated Brazil in this year’s World Cup. I hope to see a comeback in the 2023 MWC for both teams better than ever
im an osu mania kid from the philippines too and all i can say is when i start playing for 3 days i can already solo a 3 star map and now ive lost my skills full comboing 5s-6s maps.
this is by far my farvourite match i ever watch on osu tournament, its excited to see people doing this good, overcoming stress and pressure they made a great game, even though they losed but the philip team doing their best, i hope to see they to go further, gg to to all the teams i feel thankful because of the match they have made!!!!
These videos are very well made!i don't focus on mania alot but these videos makes a difference ig,specifically being a Filipino myself, congrats to South Korea that was a goodmatch!
Amazing video man and totally worth the wait, the fact that both teams gave such an intense and close match all the way till the end is really something special we rarely see in this scene. I really do hope for the best for both teams for this year's mwc, I know they will come back even stronger. Seeing players like them play, and their passion for the match really motivates me as well (although I doubt we Malaysia can ever get podium again) Once again great vid kibitz I really love the interviews and different perspectives, it gives a totally different vibe in a good way for me, also maybe you should get like an editor or 2 so you don't burn yourself on a project for 6 months, but that's just my opinion xd
Hard to find another editor willing to help out for free as well as up to my standard cuz micromanaging is gonna be tough. But thanks for the compliments glad you enjoyed :)
The Matches were insane, Both Teams Were insanely good in the world cup, Hopefully Philippines Defeats them sooner or later, To Destroy their Reign. GGs Philippines. Thank You Kibitz For This Amazing Video.
Good Job kiblitz. Espero jugar algún día para la MWC en el equipo de Panamá.
Thanks for the video Kibitz, these videos are what some players get motivation from to improve, including me. This match was really important to look forward to especially for us Filipinos. GGs to South Korea ❤
We may have lost this battle, but the results is good enough proof that the Filipinos are suitable and honorable contender for the South Koreans in osu!.
This match was insane to watch Live lol, I feel another match that could tie this would be Taiwan vs Germany in losers Finals from taiko world cup (assuming you know the match lol)
4Kenn's mom comforting him has to be the most wholesome thing I've seen yet. What a crazy play from both teams. They may not have won the match, but they certainly left a memorable impression.
thats so true because there aren't many parents comforting their son when they lose a game tournament.
Simple yet wholesome and impactful
yeah like I was surprised... there are actually moms who understand these games aren't JUST games? 🥲
@@Johnfraservn Philippine Moms are something btw.

This was awesome sucks that Philippines lost I was cheering for them I was watching this World Cup and it was so close
This is very good
what the fuck how are you not at 10k left???
The Fact That Boji And Smowscent Had A 7000+ Combo Through This Till The Last Part, Was Just Unbelievable For Me.
well boji is boji, he been getting insane scores and insane consistency
im a filipino, and I didn't know the potential we had.. Seeing my own country challenging south korea and almost winning.. Very impressive!

An incredible match to see and great perfomances on both sides, but man i felt phillipines heartbreak dude. That had to be a rough rest of the day.
Absolutely amazing production quality, love the interview from the players, just adds so much more value to the matches. Thanks for bringing to light such awesome mania events with such engaging content!

Shoutout to Jakads playing Tabletop Simulator 9:39
Lmao
Yo this maybe the greatest match in Osu history, the match is so equal they won by just 200 points.
The shortest and closest inch to win a match.
Very intense
I think this is the best content and creator for osu mania. The quality of the content is so good.
Thank you!!
The match was insane
LETS GO KIBITZ IS BACK
Wow, Philipines and South korea are competitive rival for each other, no matter in 4k or 7k mania world cup.
If I ever have the privilege of appointing a champion to play for me, I want the MAN, the MYTH, the MARVELOUS MONSTER, BOJIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!
I known this game but can't play it really well, but seeing that last match was really exciting even w/ the loss it was something worth remembering.
You either win and savior the moment while it lasts , or you lose and learn your mistakes to fix them and improve getting the goal you wanted.
We may have lost this battle, but the results is good enough proof that the Filipinos are suitable and honorable contender for the South Koreans in osu!.
6:56 back when the UK was actually good lmao
nice video btw, i watched this match live and holy i was off my seat
Thanks :))
OMG KIBITZZZ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Boji carrying the last game
Both teams off to a strong start in this year's MWC, hoping to see a rematch.
