White Jiffy Pop is NonGMO ... I have a stainless steel crank popper .. when I use it I add a touch of coconut oil for cooking with and then I add a little sea salt .. I got the stainless steel popper from bed bath & beyond .. it's around 50 bucks ..
Most of the time I use a Nordic Ware popper in the microwave and add nothing. .. it's so crunchy if you remove the lid immediately .. otherwise it will steam itself ... That diminishes the crunch ..
No, popcorn is a trap. It doesn't even offer much of anything to you nutritionally. Same goes for chips made of corn, flour, or other junk. Veggie chips might be okay, like beet chips, sweet potato chips, that sort of thing... but it'll still be hard on the gut because it's so dry. So try to be moderate with those kinds of things. Baby carrots or broccoli florets make much healthier snacks, foods with drastically higher water content is best.
I don't see why you would need avocado oil just use any other vegetable oil as long as you don't eat to much it's fine. And it doesn't matter if it's GMO the corn is just the same, the crop it grows on is just faster growing and more drought resistant.
