I've gone to Europe four times and Asia last month with just a carry on and it is so easy. Most people pack soooo much and it really affects the trip negatively. I've packed a month of clothing(even overpacked) in a carry on. Heading to Europe again in a few weeks and carry on once again.

Those are great tips, another one to add on for me is to take some medicines with you in case you got a little bit sick during the trip and it's hard for you to find a pharmacy or clinic especially if you are in the middle of no where, medicines that covers fever headache and stomach indigestions pills helps a lot, when you need them

What about medications? Or purses for the trip? Or if you're going somewhere cold and need pants and boots and sweaters that all take up way more room than flowy sundresses and sandals?

And have you ever been stopped through security because of the liquids in your bag (from facial creams, toothpaste, tonic and so on). Most places say to only bring a maximum amount of 100 ml liquid.
Super helpful! I'm going to be studying abroad in Costa Rica this summer for a month, how do you suggest I pack enough clothes for the trip. Yes, whatever you need just list it and pack it! Winter packing is a little different because of all your bulky items.
