    For everyone who is new here ! !
    - we don't like fragrance
    - eye creams are the same as moisturizers
    - YES to niacinamide
    - we live for the ordinary, Paulas choice, krave
    beauty and cerave
    - we love salicylic acid
    - the tight feeling after washing is NOT iconic sis
    - big NO to face wipes
    - we live for chemical exfoliation
    - we don't love physical exfoliation
    - peel of masks are stripping
    DIY skincare is definitely not pretty

    To using CeraVe hydrating facial cleanser, CeraVe SA Lotion, and the Neutrogena Sheer Zinc mineral sunscreen..
    I tried doing curology and I wasnt winning..I broke out bad and had bad skin texture. the skin on my forehead got like..wrinkled..a bit not fun! so it wasn't for me.
    but the routine now 💕🤝🏻 amazing..literally can't tell you how many products I have experimented with..

      While you wait for Hyram to drop that video, you may want to check out Kelly Driscoll, Lab Muffin, and Dr Dray.
      They all do a fair amount of K-beauty and J-beauty reviews.
      Kelly is almost exclusively a K-beauty channel.
      She is also fragrance-free and essential-oil free, and skin barrier supportive.
      Bear in mind she has dehydrated skin, and also uses Tretinoin, so YMMV with her recommendations.
      She is *very* inclusive though, and talks about ingredients, and properties (texture, hydration vs moisture) of products for different skin types.

    Hi, Hyram. I'm a mom that watches your videos. I noticed quite a few teens & preteens in the comments saying that their parents do not believe in skin care & think that skin care will actually make your skin worse. Could you make an educational video for parents about why it's important to teach skin care to our kids, the importance of SPF, how skin care is self care & wonderful for mental health, & how having a routine in your life is very healthy & beneficial? Kids rely on their parents to get skin care products, so it makes me so sad that some kids have parents who think skin care is actually bad. Not only is skin care good for your skin, it's good for your mental health!

    You do need to put a moisturizer down *immediately* after putting it on, if you use a pure HA and are extremely dry in particular. It will otherwise do the opposite and dry your skin out. So, seal it in with something!

    • @MC-ko2mx
      @MC-ko2mx 3 роки тому

      And also apply on damp skin.
      Wish he had been clearer on how to use HA

    • @amixeblu
      @amixeblu 3 роки тому

      @@MC-ko2mx I have to apply *everything* on dry skin. The water itself either dry out or it will "dilute" my moisturizer or serum, and crack up my skin. I have to say that I am extremely dry, though (no flaking). That is also why I never got along with those so-called moisturizer for dry skin from thermal water brands like Vichy, and La Roche Posay. It is what it is. I did get along with Louis Widmer, which is a Swiss brand. Their "Remederm" line, also for body, is heaven, and it is really soothing for sensitive skin. It's been ages since I last bought that, because it is quite expensive for me, will be mid-range for most, I think. Depending on where you live and order from!

      Your skin, just like your body, creates tolerances to ingredients and products and formulas🥲 That's why skin care enthusiasts and celebrities have a bunch of different skincare routines.. It's tragic because it's just so much more expensive. But see Gothamicka and Jada Pinkett Smiths UA-cam skincare videos, they talk about it too and it's such common sense thing when you think about that I hadn't even discover until like 4 months ago and ever since I found out I told all my friends THIS NEEDS TO BE TALKED ABOUT MORE-PLEASE SPREAD THIS SKINCARE INFO IT IS SO IMPORTANT TO CHANGE UP PRODUCTS, INGREDIENTS & ROUTINES ON A NEARLY 3-4 DAY BASIS!!! change it up when you travel, seasons, during the work week vs weekend, different climates, sunny days vs rainy days, pollution levels, etc etc! Just change it up! Keep those products in constant rotation but do not use them consistently every single day twice a day-it is so key for a successful skin care routine my loves
