I've got my Otani jersey. I've got my Dodgerfest tickets. I bought my tickets for the 2024 season yesterday. I'm ready for the season to start NOW..!!!
Not enough pitching. Need two more front line starters (FRONT LINE) for this season or the Dodgers will just limp into the playoffs with a rattle bag of injured players, silent bats and maybe one reliable ace. And no, Kersh is not a front line starter anymore. He's good for about 80-100 innings and of absolutely no utility in the playoffs.
@@Mr1stcatas long as they do something and don't waste another season of Betts and Freeman, nor Ohtani, Glasnow, Yamamoto, Miller, and Buehler (90% of whom will either be injured or bat-silent in the playoffs).
Seems like the plan for 2024 is to utilize the rookies early in the season and rest Bueller and Glasnow. May should hopefully be back by August/September. So early regular rotation: 1. Yamamoto 2. Miller 3. Paxton 4. Sheehan 5. Yarborough 6. Knack, Ryan, or Grove Post season: 1. Bueller 2. Glasnow 3. Yamamoto 4. Miller 5. Yarborough or Paxton or May I know you don’t want Kershaw but since Kershaw will only be coming back in July/August then he could be in mid season form by October.
@@f430ferrari5 makes sense, however, there are other options for starting pitching now. Since they're on a spending spree, why not? Get the WS this year. Then get another next season, presumably with Ohtani, Roki Sasaki, Yamamoto, Glasnow, Miller, and maybe Bueller comes back (if he isn't injured again). May will never be a full fledged starter again. Cat Man is useless in the playoffs. Kersh is a nostalgia piece, nothing more. They need two more aces to have a chance because Dodger bats disappear these past three post seasons (except for Freeman). Betts was nowhere to be found. Smith was nowhere to be found. It was just silent running. If the Dodgers want a normal 162 game WS under their belt, they're going to have to go harder than this.
@@theStacyJames no team is stacked as to what you’re proposing. Having Roki Sasaki next year is over the top especially with Ohtani back. Ohtani really can’t be relied upon as a full time starter either. Who knows maybe Sheehan will blossom and Miller steps it up a notch too. Same for one of the rookies. Dodgers have other top pitching prospects waiting their turn. And you are right to be concerned about hitting also but that’s Roberts fault in how he also uses up guys in the regular season and how he continually bats Mookie at the lead off spot. Has not worked 3 years in a row now. The solution is to groom Gavin Lux as a lead off hitter and everyone always likes to go after “power” but what the Dodgers need is a right handed batting speedster. It shouldn’t cost the Dodgers much either to find a player like this. The Oakland A’s have a CF who was second in stolen bases. If not him then hopefully Vargas and/Pages can be running threats. If Vargas or Pages plays well then the Dodgers have a good shot. Smith isn’t a clean up hitter and Roberts wasted him too. Burns him out. Either Barnes has to play more or Cartaya or Rushing. Freeman has to rest some too. So against right handed pitchers: 1. Lux SS L 2. Betts 2B R 3. Freeman 1B L 4. Ohtani DH L 5. Teoscar LF R 6. Muncy 3B L 7. Smith C R 8. Outman CF L 9. Ohtani 😍😍😍🦄🤴💙🔥
The Ohtani effect
Go Dodgers
This is what it must have been like when Babe Ruth put on pinstripes.
What if it rains?
From the Dodgers' website: This event is subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.
Expected for rain during the PM so it’s definitely cutting it close. Reported second storm surge Saturday night thru next week.
then your gonna hate the Rain When I die Jerry Cantrell and Layne
Matt says, "kind of" way more when he's hosting😂
Excited! Though, it's getting expensive being a Dodgers fan 🥲!
Dodgerfest pricing out the common fans nowadays. $250 for meet and greet …yikes
Meet and greet is optional and has never been cheap
They do it every year. Save $30 a month starting now and you will $360 dollars next year for Dodgersfest.
@@ciello___8307 it used to be 25 bucks for 2 autpgraphs. 250 is ridiculous

They need to go after Cease or Beiber
