This is my 2nd successful year with spinach and man, does it save me money! I do transplant mine and let it grow large for my husband’s smoothies. I can the rest!

Wish I could post a picture. I built a flower bed for my wife in the front yard. Used white landscape blocks, We put 100 onions in it. Looks stylish and will provide onions for next year 😂

I just ordered some onion seeds from you this weekend and am going to try to overwinter (play around) this year. I normally buy bunches and plant early Spring. I noticed last month some leftover taters sprouting so I put some more in the ground that were going bad. I got 40 tater plants now. Every single one. Broccoli and collards are 3 weeks in the trays. Gonna try my best. LOL

Will you be selling the potato onion bulbs next year? I'd love to buy some. One can never have too many onions. My walking onions are standing tall, doing great. My red and white onion starts that I transplanted are doing well also. I can't wait until they mature. For the spinach for my family I'd have to plant one of those long rows. We love spinach. Thanks for sharing your videos, I've never grown onions before. Your videos are very helpful. I'm in central Florida and my climate is similar to yours .

Please keep us updated on the divided and transplanted potato onions. I used to just plant them in October and harvest in May. Got a some 3 inch onions and a lot of little ones. What you’re doing looks interesting, maybe get more larger onions.

I planted my spinach out during a cool spell sometime in September I can’t quite remember, and it germinated well for me, but it’s growing crazy slow. I’m pretty sure it’s because of how shaded out my backyard is now. It’s crazy to me how these plants have been in the ground 8 weeks or so and they’re still tiny. I hit them with some blood meal and that helped them a little, but still growing crazy slow

Bloomsdale spinach in 6b Virginia. Do you think it is because of the oxalates in spinach is why the bugs don't bother it? The same goes for my chard which has oxalates.

Use the tops mostly, but you can also use the white part. Just a little more spicy than a traditional onion.
