When teenager Nicole Walker (Reese Witherspoon) meets 23-year-old David McCall (Mark Wahlberg) at a Seattle nightclub, they fall in love and start dating. However, Nicole’s father’s concerns are realized when David reveals his darker side, a violent sociopath who sees Nicole as his possession.

Dating young is the best thing to prepare you for the tons of heartbreaks you're gonna experience in life. Trying to shelter people from it is only gonna set you up for failure.
Sorry but that’s bad teaching

That's what happens when you believe too much in "systems" sometimes the simple solution is the most effective.

@@jdrammer5664 Ewww. Of course the state where you can't have an ar15 unless you're handed one most likely illegally under state and local laws for "security purposes" in the Seattle CHAZ/CHOP.
Imagine being so paranoid that you create a “super safe” house with bullet-proof windows, security system, super thick doors, etc., but also NOT paranoid enough to have several guns 😂😂
Jeff W could feel the need for a super safe house in part because your not okay with guns? Not even for moral or political reasons. Some people have trauma or phobias especially with kids in the house about having one.
It would be very awkward if they ended up at the wrong house and it was John Wick’s dog.
Or like once upon a time in Hollywood at the end lol

We hated that more than the family did. Surprised mom didnt shove the son out the doggy door as a good faith gesture in negotiating her daughters chastity.

Mark Wahlberg: Let Me in the f******g House! - 1:14
this is the part when the homeowner loads his gun.
This sht traumatized me as a kid
The home invasion part at the end was laughable, it was like Cheech and Chong breaking into a house. But the theme of the crazy jealous stalker boyfriend was not. I've seen that kind of thing happen in real life.
What was the actual story of the thing you saw in real life??? Ahh I'm so curious
That's what's so SCARY about this movie, in contrast to the likes of "A Nightmare on Elm Street" and "Friday the 13th"! A situation JUST LIKE "Fear" really CAN happen in real life! Because David McCall does have the potential to be REAL, he's a SCARIER horror movie villain than some undead dream killer (Freddy Krueger) or homicidal undead revenant (Jason Voorhees)!
Indeed, the FIRST "Friday the 13th" was MUCH scarier than any of the sequels; because in that one, Pamela Voorhees (a LIVING HUMAN BEING) was the killer!
*He not is crazy, he is just psychorath and killer, lol.*
Relationship goals, am I right, girls?
I’m kidding, of course.
David: “Let me in the fuckin house!”
Mr. Walker: “Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin!”
*movie ends*
Lol reminds me of that song from Green Jelly. 3 little pigs song
mark really did that well he really hit it big knowing he's a Boston native👍
What was that guy in the roof part of the house doing? LMAO! He looked like he was dancing lol.
A the risk of sounding callous, the wife isn't being of much help. She's just standing around, holding the phone, and she is clearly just shrieking at her husband to do everything while she does nothing but get upset.
Don't forget her being idiotic enough to let those guys inside the house, saying "i'm sorry" like fckn what are you sorry for? Sorry for letting those men go upstairs and harm your kids? And the only thing she did was scream "dont touch her" like that was going to help the situation. And don't forget that somewhere in the middle of the film she scolds the husband for not being strict enough to their daughter, and when the time came that the husband suspects something bad about the boy and tries to warn the wife, all she does is doubt him and trusts the boy like a kid given a piece of candy like wtf?? This woman has a non functioning brain. Bruh no wonder why her marriage failed before th events of the movie. A fookin dumb parent and dreadful wife
@@intergal6916 If I had been the father I would have ordered the kids to arm themselves and start attacking the attackers. I would have screamed at the wife for acting helpless and to get something solid to use against them. I would not have told the kids to run upstairs and corner themselves, I would have ordered them to get bats or knives and told the kids to use them against the home invaders.

if, the phone is dead, and the security system doesn't work, how were the lights still on? and why/how would turning them off be a GOOD idea?
I think they cut the phone lines. The security system was wired through the phones lines. As for turning the lights off, its often believed that its tougher for the Bad Guys to see you from outside, where you are exactly.
@@taracollins5597a whole generation doesn’t know everything used to go through the phone lines.

That is scary
That poor dog. My dog was sad about that scene. I had to cover his eyes 😢
Damn max Payne
It reminded me of horse head from The Godfather, I think this movie has a spoof in it.
Crazy thing about this movie is that Nicole was 16 and David was around 21 I'm assuming since he was drinking at a bar. NO ONE even mentioned that as an issue. I found that statutory r*** wasn't even a thing until 2004 so this was technically legal. 😳
One thing about this family, is how they do not just get stuff to arm themselves and prep to fight back, and stupidly rely on the lone security guard to look after them. If I had been the Dad I would have first slapped Nicole senseless for giving David the code, but then ordered my wife to get a weapon and GROW UP and prepare to defend her family. Then I would have ordered the kids to grab something to arms themselves and tell them to fight back and protect each other, to work as a team.
Is it just me or does Margo look like Laura's daughter? Laura is the one who yells, "Steve!" in case anyone doesn't know.
