Ruby: “It got to 4:30am and I thought this is a actually a reasonable time to get up” Me: “it’s got to 4:30am, this is actually a reasonable time to go to sleep”
Ruby, I really like your videos, and honestly, as a teacher I wish anyone in my class loved learning as much as you, but I just wanted to mention that you shouldn’t feel like you have to justify or apologise for wanting to watch TV for a few hours because it’s not productive. If it brought you joy, helped your mind switch off or was just something you wanted to do, it WAS productive, and you should be proud you did it.
When we haven’t had enough sleep, our constructed boundaries sort of slip away, and we are more delirious, but still kind of sane. It was beautiful to see you in the state of mind, where you we’re still being productive, yet you we’re adding creative sides to it, of things you wouldn’t normally do.
Ruby, You inspire your viewers. Many of your viewers are those who are trying to become better in their lives (academically). The way you manage your time is really cool. You make 10 hours of study time look like its absolutely doable. I clocked 10 hours recently. The "flow" trick really worked for me. Thanks and keep doing the great work!
kush Hard agree! I think honestly that her best influence is in enjoying studying because if I love what I'm doing I'll do it for ten hours no problem!
Am struggling with sleeping too, and it hits harder when you have anxiety...Each time i put my head on the pillow, i just start unconsciously overthinking about the smallest things....the summer holiday which is uncertain, people that i haven't met for more than month, the work i have to do, the responsibilities i have to take... Stay safe 🙏💖 and i hope your parents are doing well Ruby.
You can try writing all your thoughts on a journal right b4 bed time. Then, download a sleep meditation app from playstore n listen as you sleep. I also used to listen to relaxing audiobooks for half an hour (apps usually have a sleep timer) while lying in bed. There is a free one called Librivox, it has many classic stories read by volunteers. I used to listen to Anne of Green Gables or Little Women. It helps keep my mind of my own life and focus on a fictional character's life instead. But never read/listen to stories that are too exciting/addicting as that would make your insomnia worse. I hope this helps.
I know you love being productive, but don't forget to switch off sometimes too. It's a weird time at the moment and your mind is obviously full if it's keeping you up!
I've never seen Ruby Granger being so much excited while she show that gingerbread man which likes infront of a camera I played that scene more than ten times 😂😂😂

Scholastic is super common in America, specifically in schools here, especially elementary schools! Scholastic books fairs are a big thing and are typically held annually at said schools. Glad you found some good deals there!
Scholastic is actually a very popular kids book company in the US. Most people who went to elementary school in the US know the Scholastic book fair. I believe they also publish books.
When I was a child we would get a form in class to order Scholastic books, bring it back with money from home, and then weeks later there would be a thrilling afternoon when the shipment came in and the teacher would open the big box and hand out all the books everyone had ordered. Good memories.
Can I just say Ruby - It is so nice to see someone else my age still sleeping with a comfort toy! None of my other friends at university seem to sleep with comfort toys still :')
I have to thank you so much for completely transforming my life. I used to procrastinate so much and would always be failing at least one class. I always felt depressed and disappointed in myself. But sometimes it’s okay to not do anything at all and rest , it’s also okay to have fun &have a nape, if you feel that you can’t focus don’t ever force your mind, and if your body need to sleep don’t force it to wake up Life it’s not always about focus and studying and productivity all the time. Sometimes its about fun and enjoy. Excuse my English if there is any mistakes. Greetings from Egypt 🤍

"It got to 4.30 and I thought this is actually a reasonable time to get up" vs me coming downstairs at 4pm
Good for you ruby to take this day to try and do something x remember if you are really tired just sleep dont keep yourself up!
I have pretty bad insomnia some times and so many people just don't realize how hard a sleep deprived week or more can be. I wish you many good nights:)
Ruby, I am right there with you!! Two days of no sleep is getting me!!
I'm so sorry that you couldn't sleep, but I'm having a lot of sleepless nights myself, and this video helped me a lot! Thank you so much for this
I love how there is WAKE UP written on your breakfast bowl. Nice detail :D
for some reason sleep deprived ruby is even more adorable 😂😂
This slightly manic ruby is SENDING ME
Me being one of those people who has learned to survive off if three hours of sleep.
And I saw Library of Souls on the thingymajiggy (my brain has temporarily died) and I had to watch again..
She's amazing for still being able to have a productive day with no sleep. I get 10 hours of sleep and I can hardly focus! xD
But sometimes it’s okay to not do anything at all and rest , it’s also okay to have fun &have a nape, if you feel that you can’t focus don’t ever force your mind, and if your body need to sleep don’t force it to wake up
Life it’s not always about focus and studying and productivity all the time. Sometimes its about fun and enjoy.
Excuse my English if there is any mistakes.
Greetings from Egypt 🤍
@@nesmaahmed845 That is actually a really good way of looking at it. :)
P.s your English is fine. :)

I bet you'll love the rest of the Miss Peregrine's series! It's really wonderful!
I’m from Canada and we used to have Scholastic book fairs every year in elementary school! It was always the highlight of the year. We also would get scholastic catalogues and were able to order books at really good prices. It was the best
I love your personality, I feel like each video I watch of yours, you seem to be yourself more and more 💓
I love you’re videos so much, and they are so nice to watch in this strange time. Also just in case you were wondering, the reason you were hungry was due to the lack of sleep as you’re body needs more fuel. Love you ruby ❤️
Laying down in my bed and watching Your videos during my resting period is my most favorite thing!!!💖😁🥰😍😘♥️✨
i love you ruby 💕💕
I got this recommended tonight... at 3:05 am when I'm having a no sleep day😂 I remember the first time I saw this was when I did a no sleep day.. and this was posted the next day☺ I have no idea what you'll do of this information
Love that moment when you just slept while watching youtube, happens to me all the time. And please please don't call it "Chai Tea" Bag, Chai is Tea.❤️
