Varys: "Are we really going to spend the entire road to Volantis talking about the futility of everything?" Tyrion: "You're right. No point." Tyrion's humor is on point.
That's only on the show. They want to make her Queen in the books. The Dornish, especially the women are amazing and forces to be reckoned with. They have been since King Aegon's rule.
I always took Drogons return as "if she can't rule with love she'll rule with fear" and he showed up when she needed him most. If they were thinking of a rebellion, a dragon looming over the city would give second thoughts.
16:33 "Fun" Fact: In the books, Lollys (that woman Bron is going to marry) was mentally disabled, and was r*ped by an angry mob that wanted to the same to Sansa. She ended up pregnant, and Bron decided to name the baby "Tyrion".
The mob may have wanted to but they never even got close enough in the books. The Hound removed the arm of the first person that touched her and returned her to the Red Keep. She had stuff thrown at her but she didn't runaway anywhere or get attacked by anyone like in the show. And Lollys wasn't mentally challenged. She was young and not the smartest but it wasn't from a mental affliction. She didn't become mental until after she was drug off a horse and SA by half a hundred men and left wandering naked in Flea Bottom after. Then treated like she was somehow at fault for it all and needed to get over it. Then have to be pregnant with a "bastard". I always felt bad for her. And they named her baby Tyrion because they asked Cersei if they could name him Tywin and she had a come apart and highly insulted Lollys and the baby. So naming him Tyrion instead was Bron's version of F you to Cersei.
imo Drogon was smart enough to know burning that baby was wrong , and he knew the consequences of that ( prison like his brothers ) so despite missing his mother , which is why he showed up at her window, he still chose to get tf out of there quickly after .
“I ask again, where does it end?" Ellaria Sand laid her hand on the Mountain's head. "I saw your father die. Here is his killer. Can I take a skull to bed with me, to give me comfort in the night? Will it make me laugh, write me songs, care for me when I am old and sick?" Oh Dorne, I will always mourn what could have been😔

The letter from Lady Lyanna Mormont said they know no King except the King in the North whose name is Stark. In other words, she won't follow any southern kings, it must be a Northern King, and that King's name must be Stark. OR, at least he must have Stark blood in his, or her, veins. She would only bend the knee to one of five or six people alive in Universe right now. That's what she meant. She'll only follow a Stark Regent. Basically.

I agree that Brienne shouldn't have immediately confronted Littlefinger and Sansa, but as soon as Littlefinger "suggested" Brienne stay with them, she knew he planned to kill her and Podrick. He couldn't afford to let them live because he doesn't want anyone to know he has Sansa. At that point, Brienne had no choice but to wreak havoc and take off. She was heavily outnumbered and if she had stood her ground at the inn, the odds would not have been in her favor. Thanks to her quick reading of the situation and response, she and Pod are still alive and still have a chance to help Sansa. For me, Sam is the MVP of this episode. He knew who the right choice for Lord Commander was, and his speech nominating Jon was fire. 🔥 ("...in a puddle of his own making." lol ) Sadly, I think your assessment of Dany's position right now is pretty accurate.
I watched this series a dozen times and had seen it every time but hadn’t once really thought about maester aemon casting his vote after the count was in…🤗😂
In Danny's defense, the punishment back then and in this world for murder, is execution. And the guy confessed to killing the man waiting trial. Anyone else would've done the same thing in her position.
A trial, or blood? Danerys is two things: 1. Fire. 2. Blood. Trials are for Harpies, actually. That's straight outta Greek Mythology. And they weren't happy about it, either. I love GRRM.
Daenerys was so dumb. A trial for the Harpy and a public execution for the former slave. She could've just locked him up. It reminds me of Robb killing Karstark in the middle of a war despite knowing he needed his men. She needed the public on her side. Now she's given them reason to join the harpies. Just dumb.
I mean, yeah, she did took the wrong decision, but what can we expect? She was like 14 in the books, and here shes... 17? She has a good heart, but she doesn't know how to be a queen
Let be honest if the master was found guilty she would have to kill him they are hypocrites they want mercy for one of their own but not the other this is literally a lose lose situation for her cuz back then the law was a life for a life imprisonment wasn't a really a thing
