A lack of EV's is not the issue, the issue is they have not really updated their product line and have just upped the prices.

When a company is selling a $100,000 jeep SUV with the quality of a fisher price toy things like this tend to happen. And plus the fact that they got rid of the V8 on their trucks also.

You can't tow with an EV. Can't find charge stations. So in a truck it is useless. For now anyway.

That's because the environmentalists wackos are obsessed with climate change and are placing the blame on gas and diesel powered vehicles, and their beliefs are completely wrong especially their political agendas!

It's all the cutting corners to keep ceo's pay pegged at redline for decades. For example used to be both doors had a key lock. Cut to drivers door only. That's a 50% reduction of lock cylinders and keys. Oh just got to complete electric locks and eliminate them all. Where did the money go? Ceo's, shareholders, banks who enabled financing higher prices when true value isn't there. Who needs $10 million a year to make decisions. Hell I can make just as many stupid decisions and I don't make anywhere that much. People will always pay more for quality. We've been snookered on what is quality going forward.

They were gone 20 years ago and honestly we should have been wiser then and realized that they weren't ever going to recover and focused on a way to slowly put it down and let the rest of the manufacturers absorb the majority of the employees over time to minimize the impact of sudden failure and dumping everyone at once before the other manufacturers had seen the sales growth as the nocar guys became new customers

See, I disagree at least 50%! Toyota has lead the charge (pun intended) on hybrid technology and is where industry should be focused on! Build on that!

Thanks that pun was funny ,may I humbly mention hybrid isn’t all electric I believe the “big cheese ” stepped down from Toyota
Imop all electric is a pipe dream for now or for a few years to come due to prices .
Not anti all electric just needs to make financial sense and become much more practical for avg family needs and lest I forget the infrastructure to charge them up across the USA
      Peace
      Blessings

Older Dodge vehicles and are well made vehicles. Generally almost all older cars are better than the newer ones.

The cheapest vehicle you can buy from Stella this in Canada is a Dodge hornet at $40000, where is the entry level to compete with the Chevy Trax at $25000 or cheaper Hyundai's even?

Brent Wolff is absolutely right, overpriced junk. They've been making poor quality vehicles for a long time now, vehicles that weren't top sellers. If you cant build a quality, reliable vehicle and others can, guess what will happen. If you build vehicles people don't want, whats going to happen? It doesn't take a genius to figure that out. Now they're play overpriced on top of it. They had these issues long before Stellantis, which is why they are now owned by stellantis. The government had to bail them out because of their poor decisions, so u and I paid for it. The government owned them then Daimler Benz, then Fiat? I can't keep track, but the point is, they are to blame for the situation they're in, not Stellantis. Yeah Stellantis has made bad decisions and the government regulations have certainly played a part in screwing things up, but the bottom line is, dodge/Chrysler/ram have been in trouble for a long time. No more bail outs, if they fail they fail. The other manufacturers have had to deal with the same conditions and its hurt them too, but they have also made better decisions.

They have priced themselves out of the market plus no V8 for half ton ram is hurting them. The replacement straight 6 turbo engine for the V8 is having all kinds of problems. It doesn't even have a dipstick. Their CEO is a dipstick that doesn't know the US market.

People aren't buying the EV's. GM and Ford are both backtracking on plans to expand EV production. Mopar made the best decision to not even enter the market. That being said, Mopar is junk. It's over engineered European systems made with the cheapest parts possible, and not only that, but since 2015, they've made it overly difficult for independent shops to work on them. I'm not paying $750 a year for special programming to even do basic diagnostics. I'd rather just not work on Mopar.
