Still watching. 2023. Classic.
Everything about this was a joy. Just watched again a year later.
This video has become a tradition for my wife and me every year when we start thinking about seeds and planting. I absolutely love this video. I hope you and yours is doing well and I pray your mom and pops still have their health. ❤
I watch this every year 2 or three times during pumpkin season. My favorite pumpkin documentary for sure.
This is by far my most favorite documentary on UA-cam, I can’t stop coming back to it every so often for motivation for my own garden. Cheers!
Hope bill is still rocking giant pumpkins in the free world!
He is. He's excited for another season too!
This man is my hero.
Greatest documentary of all time. I make my kids watch this 4 times a year.
This was a pleasure to watch!
Really enjoyed this documentary. It was very interesting! Thank you!
Fantastic film. Professional. Captures who real people are...Look forward to more of Ryan's films...
I'm making a video series of a giant pumpkin growing throughout the season you can watch it grow if you would like ua-cam.com/video/ApyAQ3lXOVY/v-deo.html

Joshua Bradshaw He's got jokes.
I really enjoyed this documentary!
Great movie! Watched the whole thing. Can't wait to start planting this year. Thanks for producing this.
This was really fun to watch. I am growing my first pumpkin this year after my luck with some squash plants. I was really happy when he made his goal.
Such a good informative video that I watched it twice. Thank you for sharing.
Im getting ready to start growing pumpkins for fun. This movie is great! Im glad that you did this for your father and your self. Great job!!
Good work Mr. Foss! Nice documentary Ryan! I hope to see more!
I LOVE BILL
Love the video !!!!!!! Awesome 👌
I really enjoy this
I watched the whole video. I loved it! This is my first time trying to grow a giant pumpkin. I've had trouble with squash bugs and cucumber beetles. My first one died. I'm hoping the second pumpkin will make it through somehow even though it has been the attack of the bugs. It is growing bigger daily now I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
I love this documentary! Thank you for sharing the joy of pumpkins! I hope Bill is still growing giant pumpkins
Your advice is so appreciated, I am looking forward to next year. I have just grown my first baby pumpkins (13) and will try a 'big' pumpkin next year following your tips.
This is the first year I've ever grown pumpkins. I find this fascinating. My pumpkins are only like 10 pounds. I already pulled them up this year. I'm thinking of starting another one.
Thank you for making this video.
When my kids are bad I threaten to make them watch this, and they become extremely obedient for a month!
Hey my name is Johnathan Foss from Florida and I'm growing pumpkins also.
Awesome video... loved it!!! Great production and filming!!!
Ryan I miss seeing your Dad at the Weigh offs.
Great Documentary. Bill seems to be a great guy. Calm and great attitude. Thx.
I enjoyed it a lot and learned some things!
Bravo, that was great 👏
I want Mr. Foss to write "Zen and the Art of Growing Big Pumpkins." Great work. It was a really enjoyable documentary.
Well I watched it again. I’ve probably watched this more than Star Wars.
words of wisdom to all those who love to grow. have fun and you'll grow the big one. BUT HAVE FUN DOING IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you!!!
Best world class pumpkins ever grown.
Cool movie. Pretty inspiring. Just having a crack at some pumpkins for food at the moment.
Grew a 75 pound Big Max this year (2020). Wanting to buy seeds from record pumpkins...
Are you still looking for seeds?
World class!
If you're interested in giant pumpkins, you gotta read the funny novel: Getting Huge.
This was excellent.
Hi iv watched video and it's very good I live in the uk wot is the chance you could send me some seed plz
1:10:30 How you make the boards you use to pull the pumpkin. Smaller ones
I'm not sure what you mean. If you mean the red frame he's lifting with, that's something he had made, it's steel welded. If you mean the boards in the back of the truck, that is just a pallet and some plywood and pink foam core. :)
@@QuantumPetshop sorry put the time stamp 1:11:20. The wood frames that he has the pumpkins on.
After looking at it i have an idea.
(Newbie here just trying to find better ways to move it. Not growing record pumpkins. Just growing because I like to. Last year had about 200 lb one, an brother and I man handle it on a garden trailer. So it could be in the front yard. If I could hook up a chain to a wood platforms, then pull it with garden tractor would be great)
@@IAmHumanJake Ha, no problem. It's all backyard engineering! I've moved 300-ish pounders with blankets and a couple people. Many times its blankets and pulling across the yard. (FWIW, it's out the back of a minivan and into the yard, man-handled all the way.) The board there in the video, and dragging them around, makes it look easy because it is. I don't specifically remember anything about that, but get something under them and drag away! Good luck!
@QuantumPetshop , are these large pumpkins any good for eating?
2024!!
Wow, almost 16 years ago n the filmed was 2005 ?
great documentary would love to get some seeds from you
Are there any specifics anywhere about what fertilizer and /or other soil additives are used, how much of each per week per plant, and how much watering per week/day per plant?
Nice video.
Great ad for the Toyota Tundra.
im a first time pumpkin grower and I have a question about my pumpkins. they are good so far but afew of them they leafs are bending and a little bit have a yellow part on the leaf. what dose it mean??
How would I get intouch with fella like you to get some seeds to grow in my garden? I live in Oxford Maine would like to grow a couple to take to my State fair. I have some that are going out this weekend obviously they won't be record breaking but I hope they get really big..👍
Still looking for seeds?
When would be the best time to plant pumpkin seeds outside?
Victor Cordero It depends on your geography. You want to plant them after the risk of frost is over. You can google your location to see when that is.
👍👍👍🙏😊
The real giant in this film, isn't the pumpkin.

11:52 This wife is so clueless, sorry. "Pretty soon we'll have nothing but garden", basically there is nothing without the garden, a flat boring lawn is "something"? I almost thought she was being sarcastic but I can sense by her other comments and expression she really doesnt agree with the garden. How sad she can't appreciate him.
