Anyway, actually excited for more Star Wars Unlimited from you guys.
Some feedback on the Sabine vs Grand Inquisitor game, because Grand Inquisitor is the one deck I have been playing around so far:
1. the turn 1 play of using the Grand Inquisitor and the base to get the Marine of the board is absolutley correct, this is the ideal turn 1 the Inquisitor can hope for
2. The Inquisitor player made a big plunder in turn 2 of the game imho by using the Inquisitor to ready the Snowtrooper and atk base, he should have instead taken initiative and cleared the Spec Force Soldier with the Snowtrooper on the next turn, that would have prevented the blowout with the Medal Ceremony next turn (that is not hindsight, Sabine plays buffs like Wing Leader, Fleet Lieutenant and Medal Ceremony and the #1 priority of the Inquisitor deck should be to keep the board as clear as possible, dmg to the base is secondary, as you can easily do 15+ dmg to base when the Inquisitor deploys on turn 6)
On another note, I don't play the Inquisitor as an aggro deck, but more like an Aggro Control deck and I don't play cards like Malbus, because I think his stats are pretty bad.

I’d definitely start building a collection asap if you’re getting into this game. The prices are going to be nuts soon, and they’re already almost there.
Also use proxies for playtesting the meta, no need to buy 5-8 decks

just curious as to if there is a all space unit strategy in yellow / red with out menuvers and all ground destruction utility...sounds like it could be a good deck idea
That is certainly an idea worth exploring!
Twin suns also has 3 tokens instead of only initiative, and you can't pass to do nothing. You either take an action or take a token.
The blast token deals 1 damage to each opponent when you take it.
The plan token lets you draw a card.
Furthermore, the game ends when any one player is defeated. The player that defeated them regains 5 health to the base, and then the player with the least damage on their base wins.
@3:00 the leader is considered to be already in play, so when you are doing its epic action, it does not come into play. No effects that trigger "when X card comes into play" are usable on the leader epic action

I did the same mistake on my first games, I was triggering freedom fighters from red leaders
Iden should have healed Justin for 1 when she got taken out by Echo Base Defender. "If Iden is defeated simultaneously with other enemy units, you still get to heal damage. " He would have been at 19 correctly and won the game, unless I missed him healing.

The unique by subtitle thing is the same rule in FFG's Marvel Champions lcg.

I love twin suns. We finally got to play 3 games yesterday. I was han/luke/command and I won the first game and then got targeted the next two games and was still in it to the very end. Being able to ramp turn 5 from hand to 6, deploy both Luke and Han, swing with han to ramp again to 7, and then drop 7 drop Luke Skywalker or 7 cost u-wing reinforcements or load some lightsabers onto Luke is just so much fun. Boba Fett is pretty nasty regardless who you play him with. You gain so much advantage because other players taking out each other’s units still trigger boba’s ability to ready a resource. I’ve built him with iden with a command base because she is the same way with her ability. so I’m hoping them two together will be ridiculously good. If yall do play it, don’t run a 25 life base. You will need every bit of that 30 life base when facing 3 players at once.
Umm nooo.... Go play commander in Magic. Game modes like that ruins a game.
@@OdracPR lol it’s just a casual mode. Literally changes nothing for the game besides having 1 extra leader. Go cry somewhere else

Doesnt have much impact on games (except Han / Falcon), but regroup phase is 1) draw 2, 2) resource, and 3) ready everything.
Yeah just good to get in the habit if you plan to play in tournaments
Who wins if Sabine's action is used and both bases are at 1 health?
According to section 4.3.2 of the comprehensive rules - If, during a best-of-three match, a game ends in a draw (due to an effect destroying both bases simultaneously), then that game does not count toward either player’s win total, and the players continue playing games until either one player has won two games or time is called.

1:45:32 sabine (the unit) cannot be attacked when there are at least 3 aspects (other than hers) in play. So basically 90% of the time, when there are 2 more units and one of them has 2 aspects, she cannot be attacked
Sabine says 3 or more aspects among *other friendly units*. While there were 3 other units on Sabine's side of the field, only 2 aspects were on the field.
@@deadlyf00lthe rules say that "aspects are colored icons on a card" and that "cards have 0-1-2 aspect icons". So, sabine's text "at least 3 aspects" is referring to different colours or number of icons ?
It 's not very clear to me, as it doesn't say "3 different aspects"
@@glothI double checked with the card gallery on the star wars unlimited site. It looks like they are adding rules clarifications for cards like MtG does for their database.
Rules Clarifications:
Sabine’s first ability requires 3 different aspects among other friendly units.
@@glothto me it says three different colors (the aspects you mentioned). That’s how I read it as well.
1:48:00 You missed a heal when iden traded.
steadfast battalion destroy boba fett's midrange/tempo decks. You deploy sabine on turn 3 and if you have them on your hand for turn 4 to insta kill boba is gg. But I would not cut general dodonna for them. The general like the red three are cards that give you dmg even on the turn they are played exhausted. I use 2 generals, 2 steadfast battallion and 2 guerilla attack pods instead of 2x3.
I find aliance x-wing weak, 2 attack is not great and you really don't need any more 2 drops. Bright hope 6 health sentinel is going to keep the red three safe which is going to be way more dmg than the x-wing could do. It's 4 cost unique though and to keep the curve nice, i m doing 2x bright hope and 1x mon mothma, with which i can feel safe to start with her even without a 3 drop in my starting hand.
Love your sideboard options, and its what I 've done in the main deck. Basically I do not like medal ceremony and rebel assault, so I m using one or the other (both are good, but have different use cases). And the 3 spaces I have I m going with 1x U-wing reinforcement and 2x Zeb. I am also trying out changing the heroic sacrifice with 2x traitorous (the change in for a cause is negligible, 4
I love the deck ideas but for the people who can't get a hold of 3 of the legendary Vader's or Boba Fett's makes these deck ideas a little difficult to achieve
There are certainly some budget options, but we will be primarily testing decks for Competitive play using all the available cards.
You guys gotta get use to drawing than putting a resource down and than ready. At bigger events there will be players that will call on you on that and on stream you will lose to resource once you ready.
100%. In our future streams we actively work on this and call each other out. In the most recent stream we were pretty good about it as well as showing the cards we resource each turn to the camera.
About @51:00 there's talk about a Death Star card. I don't think they'll so it this way, but they could have some kind of "Assemble the Death Star" card that must be played 3 times, but when you do, you get some kind of crazy token unit that obliterates the board or does something else that's epic.
Another note: When Iden died to the ambush unit, she would have seen the unit that ran into her die as well, which would have healed for another one. Not entirely sure it makes a difference in that game, but if you sweep the board with Iden there, even if she dies in the sweep, you heal for each enemy unit defeated. Potentially a huge swing in your favor.
I like the game I just dont like how fast you can win/lose right now.
The games are definitely intended to be over fast. 55 minute rounds in tournaments to fit in a best of 3 match.
You really need to play a gauntlet with and against boba, that’s the deck to beat. My lgs was like 70% boba green the other night
And leia red is REALLY GOOD. Attacking with two units at a time is a pretty big deal in this game . You’re basically using time walk with Leia
Definitely want to put Boba together soon, maybe even the next video!
@@TabletopRoyale I’d definitely watch it! I have about 8 decks made (7 proxies) and boba is just busted , it’s imo easily the best deck in the game right now
