I am a little upset that Blood Death Knights were not in this rankings. We are clearly the best healers, we are just a bit selfish and dont like to share.
you got a point, blood dks are deluxe s tier healer, but they are Z69 tier tanks. 1mio hp health dip from 90% to 10% and up again to 90% withing half a second. i hate healing dks. somebody suggested me letting them sit at 30%... but that would make me anxious. i cant heal dks.
Holy priest here as well. I feel the same but let's be honest. This is how it works. One patch one class/spec is superior, the next patch it's reversed. I remember times when both disc and holy where by far at the top of healing meters. Now it's different, but maybe in Shadowlands :)

Holy priest main here. Yes all 3 priest specs in uldir/BoD were so OP. However I still manage to top all metres as holy and I like being top dog. So I’m happy.

I feel like, for shamans at least, you overlooked Spiritwalker's Grace, which allows moving while casting for 15 seconds, and, if you have the right talent (which is pretty common), adds movement speed and is only on a 1-minute CD. Also reincarnation, though that does suffer from a hefty cooldown, so it won't be available all fights, but being able to straight-up come back to life without a battle rez once every 30 minutes is big
I really like the good philosophy behind the categories and the rankings. I think there's some room to argue about the details, which is fine. The underlying reasoning is stuff I wish more players understood.

How did you actually build the hps data from warcraftlogs cause there is a potential issue. For shamans, the logs are "contaminated" with battleshamans that dont actually try to heal and bring the average hps way down. If you are measuring resto shaman hps potential, you need to clean those out.
A defense cd in this context is something you can pop, then continue to heal. You can’t heal in gw form so it’s pointless for this list. Very few fights on mythic where you pop a defense then just stand there.
Bear form increases health by 25% which is why it’s on the list. In mythic raiding, that could be the difference between dying or not dying. Ghost wolf is not keeping you alive in that situation.

Right? I’ve always ran tigers lust because if I need a boost I NEED it and I can help anyone else but the basic roll has me covered 99% of the time. Every time I ran torpedo I always overshoot/over roll important mechanics such as soaks or getting into positions. I only ran torpedo in Eternal Palace because the rooms are so damn large and getting distance is more important. :V

I hate how unbalanced this expansion has been for healers, with discipline priests dominating in Uldir and then also holy paladins equally powerful since the second raid. At least mistweaver has been buffed and can now deal damage even out of conflict of strife while healing, but with the duration of renewing mist and the rest of the hots (enveloping mist and the one aplied by essence font) I feel like it won't be as impactful and will require a lot of mana to constantly cast essence font so that then you can extend it's duration, preferibly with thunder tea so that you get 2 guaranteed kicks (luckily 3), while going for the other build allows you to be casting just one essence font every 30s or so and synergizes well with thunder tea and the essence font azerite traits for both skills, which results in increasing your hps and allowing you to use more ofent thunder tea, get a buff and choose what is fits better for the situation (enveloping mist to heal more the tank and also get crit, free vivify if you need to save mana and mastery, the kick for dps while on way of the crane and versatility or renewing mist so that it lasts longer and gets you celerity). I feel like the fistweaving oriented build build is not gonna be solid enough. And if you add to that our meh utility...
Oscar WhatTheFck The intent for rising most is not to increase the duration of EF’s hot. It’s to extend and put out as many renewing mists on to the raid therefore when enough are out ticking (5+ renewing mists) one vivify heals more and is more mana efficient than casting one essence font. Therefore mana tea + vivify spam heals for an insane amount. Rising mist is just an option for a style of healing or hopefully I see it as when it’s needed for a time of min maxing like say mythic progression, then I hope I would pump out hard enough. Otherwise fistweaving can’t compete with the pure output that Upwelling brings to the table and sadly logs prove it for heroic progression at the moment and my own parses and experience in 8.3. (But who knows)
I do not like a way where are the healers forcing . Healer class should do two things only . Heal party members and use their utility to help the raid . I know that in the highest raid difficulty any point of damage matters still , this is the job for damage dealers , not for healers in my opinion .
I don't understand the HPS ranking. It's not realistic with current 90th% heroic Nyalotha parses. Holy is 1st in every fight, while disc is last. Not that this means Holy is gonna be anywhere near any mythic kills, but it's the correct information nonetheless.
@@BloomingSnow I was top heals in our guild's mythic TEP prog and so far one of the tops in our heroic Ny'a this week. I think there was too much weight given to dps and additional utility in the vid. My opinion. I think holy is very strong but I am biased too.
@@AbsoluteApril The problem is, the only thing Holy has is HPS. It has nothing else. And even then, most other healers can easily beat a Holy priest, while bringing better raid wide cds. Doesn't mean you can't bring a Holy priest to mythic and do well but other specs are just better overall.

Not to mention the wow community is made up by millions of players and as you can see, only 25k have bothered watching and only 800 bothered rating it. If anyone tells you you're playing a "shit" spec, tell them they're idiots who can't seperate mythic raiding PROGRESSION(which only like 1% of the community actually do) with literally anything else.

Holy Priest is the premier Heroic/Normal healer, with more tools to save people from mistakes than any other healer and the best reactive healing. Unfortunately, its strengths are pretty much all nullified in mythic raiding, where you're playing with players who make less mistakes, and the fights are all about dealing with unavoidable damage which you can do better proactively.
play hpriest if you want. idk what jeath is saying how its middle of the pack in raw HPS. during all my mythic testing I was absolutely blasting on it. (hitting upwards of 150k on specific bosses while hpallies were only maintaining 120k) I'll be playing disc on prog for sure, but Hpriest is definitely the best or top 2 in pure raw HPS no questions asked right now.

Prime example of this is the other video method came out with bottom long ago about best dps class ( melee classes I believe I don't remember) to do mythic keystone progression. Top tier was demon hunters and rogues to push 15+ keystone's. Goingboff that alone, even though other dps classes are still decent, many people will only take those 2 classes for keystone progression because they are just the best. My point is that instead of having a certain amount of classes be better than others why can't blizzard just make everyone on par so that every class is good to do anything like dps and etc. Blizzard can't seem to balance classes for shit. At that point when making everyone on par, all that would matters is taking people who actually know how to play their class.

My biggest issue with current healing is this. There is only burst heals and like 70% of the time you are dps
