Have loved him since i was seven years old. Have seen him in concert six times throughout my life. I would give ANYTHING to meet this beautiful man!
I met billy in Louisville, Kentucky in the U.S. at a bar called SPLASH. It was a pub that was built on a floating barge. This was before his motorcycle accident and he was still drinking. I was at the pub there waiting for a young woman who stood me up. Billy and I had a two-hour conversation and drank the place nearly dry. What a great guy. he was real and didn't care what others thought.
He's so modest and so likeable!! How can you not love this guy!! And he looks GREAT!! I've listened to him sing recently and he's still got his total voice!!
The excerpts from his early days are great - articulate young man. Used to listen to Rebel Yell LP back to back over and over when it came out - such a great record - all songs were excellent and haven’t aged a bit.

Saw him in concert in the 80s. I love the first rap groups again in the 80s. But I’m open to new old, any era of music. Eyes without a face…my favorite! But I love his new stuff too! Incredibly talented and still very attractive!!
He's gotten a little tongue in cheek as he's gotten older. Love this guy.
His stage persona has always been VERY tongue-in-cheek.
@@mjh5437 fair enough, maybe I'm more tuned into it now. I was 13 or 14 when I discovered his videos on MTV, so the tongue in cheek sensor might not have been as developed. I'm 50 now, so it seems more pronounced, but that could be me.

Billy Idol has always been a fine looking man and a great singer. I loved the 80's and we were lucky to have Billy's face representing the decade. I am so glad that he survived and became the man that he is today🤗.

Billy and Steve Stevens, two of the all-time great rockers.
A surprisingly intelligent, articulate and interesting person. Has aged well and has a great deal of humility for such a gigawatt star. Have always enjoyed his music.
I'm a straight dude but holy shit this guy gets better looking as he gets older and the how the hell does he stay in that shape for a man in his 60's. Was a fan back in the day but becoming a fan all over again, gotta love UA-cam. Still sounds great too, not many legends from the 70's and 80's that held up like Billy.

He seems highly intelligent. I love the new music he and Steve have put out. I grew up with Billy Idol in the 80s. I was into new wave, punk, rock, disco, all kinds of music. I loved the look, the entire thing. I actually saw Billy at Merry Weather back then. We used to get called freaks and now the music, look and everything represents that time period as if it had been accepted. Funny how people are.
Music is always like that. The younger generation creates and discovers a new genre and the older generation doesn’t like it because they like what they grew up with. It still blows my mind to hear rap and R&B songs being sampled in commercials where back in the 90s there was so much censorship around that genre. It was the same with heavy metal from the 80s which was considered devil music…lol. Now you hear songs from that genre being sample too.

He did a lot of lip syncing, Martin, pop/rock music mandatory, I suppose ... and Goodsall was the actual axeman on Eyes Without a Face, I believe, probably his & Stevens’ best & most original work, perhaps the best version done only very recently on SiriusXM. Also, by all appearances, a “made man” in the Illuminati sense - tons of one-eye and other imagery, the whole Aucoin thing, etc., etc. ... He could be a very dangerous man, if he were to ever sober up - everything: the weed & whatever else - imagine Billy Idol critiquing the FauxVID-9/11 with a special edition of Eyes Without a Face! Billy still sounds and looks amazing. I especially loved listening to the interview with young Billy Idol...he already knew his influences and the direction he wanted to go in. That part of this video made it even cooler.

He is incredibly blessed. He came from a stable, sensible, healthy, moral and intelligent family and he is blessed that the mother of his children was there for them in the same way. Now he has a beautiful granddaughter as a result. I love Steve Stevens and his wife. Good people. Billy Idol is intelligent about those he surrounds himself with.
