The Monkey Bike is good.
With added enthusiasm from an owner that obviously enjoys their machine(s), you cannot help being drawn in, and watch the entire video.
Sometimes you find that the person/presenter is reading from a list, physically or mentally, they are running down check points, and that's fine.
Here, we get to see what was done, are informed why it was done and most importantly, we get to hear the rider enthuse about how the feel, handling or aesthetics that have been adjusted, now fit their taste.
Enjoyable, engaging and well worth the watch.

for most of my life, through duty or necessity, the vehicle of choice was always a van.
Upbringing, family commitments and bills to pay always conspired to ensure the small piggy bank was usually near empty.
However, things change and priorities change too.
Now, I have a 2019 Monkey, in Black and Pearl, lovely little machine. Wonderful personality on small bore bikes, more to do, more gears to change, more traffic to be aware of, more alive.
I traded in My Ducati Diavel for a new Honda CBR500R last year too.
Parked Her up and said, "no more".
That thing tried to kill me more than once and the last ride was the final opportunity she got.
Anyways,
The Monkey is great fun and my first choice when travelling on two wheels.

I have a Red 2021 Honda Monkey. I love it! Ride around Lakeside, AZ every chance I get. I live in the beautiful white mountains of North Eastern Arizona. One of the best places in the world for trail riding. More Pine Trees here per square mile than any place in the World. Lakeside, AZ in the summer time is one of the most beautiful places anywhere.
I really want to check out the trails. Let’s see, Mesa to Lakeside , 178 miles divided by 60 mph…one stop for gas, plus Dairy Queen opportunities….Hmmm, I gotta do this!!!

Check out a quick change seat kit I have one on mine and love not needing a wrench to get the seat off.
Nice mod for sure Since I have ABS the control unit fills up the little compartment under the seat. So I don’t go under there much Keep going on your stuff dude and thank you very much for watching my channel

Both! Skid plate is from RICOCHET OFF-ROAD RACING. ( it came off my wrecked 2016 Kawasaki KLR650) the mounting brackets , I made.
I look at the old cars and trucks out in my yard and wonder why I don't have one of these instead. Then again there's the pesky others I live with who might object. That and the non-AZ weather. But a boy can dream.

Hi, great video I only recently bought A Monkey. Australian monkeys are simular to UK Asia models. I'm 62 next week .Love The Bike. Have not done many mods as yet. I maxed out my credit card buying the bike.
Question: how did you raise the seat ? .( make a video if you get time
Thank you for commenting. The seat height is not touched. Composi Moto makes a “ Tank Riser” kit for around a hundred dollars (U.S.). Easy install. Drill two small holes .install two bolts , done. I also try to “make” my mods as opposed to store bought brand new parts. The windshield I have is from my old Kawasaki KLR650. As well as the skid plate. Hey , have fun with your new Monkey!!!

Ha, that’s funny! Funny because this bike is so cool, that my wife “let” me keep it in the house! In the freakin Living room while I designed the brackets to adapt my Kawasaki KLR650 windshield to my Monkey. Respect the ride, Respect the Man.

What year grom peg mount did you use? I see new ones on eBay 2017-2020. Will those years fit the monkey?
Sorry but IIDK. I went back to my eBay where I bought it to find out the year and the listing has been removed. So I don’t know what year it was. As long as the frame is the same frame still, then they should work. It’s tough to explain. The monkey in the gram share the same frame. At least that was the case until they radically changed the gram. Sorry I don’t have more detail.
