This is my favorite asmr video :) I discovered asmr from someone teaching me something and this scenario gives me the most tingles!!! Thank you so much for making this and please please please make more like it!!!
Thank you very much for making this video!! Continuing to enjoy in June 2024. I search for my specific favorites and am grateful this one can still be found!🇨🇦✌️
This is an awesome drawing asmr. People will draw and it's REALLY nice and everything but, when you're explaining what you're drawing, and making like a floor plan, and voice your imagination while putting it on paper, absolutely genius!
To me the best responses I get are from videos of people not necessarily aiming to promote asmr. This is spot on as you can tell you are really concentrating on the drawing and the idea that your trying to get onto the page. Massive thanks from the UK.
I put this video on one of my lists so I could watch again. I’d forgotten how amazing it is. Love your voice! I actually get more tingles from voices than anything else.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! I requested this a few videos back, and now, I don't know if my request is what inspired this video, but my wishes were granted. You are the BEST Dimitri!!!!
It's really funny seeing your point of view while drawing right-handed, because i draw and sketch a lot and I am left handed, lol. But also this is an excellent video, I love that you're creating a place through sketching even though you don't have a lot of previous drawing experience, that is what drawing is for, is to create and express thoughts (at least for me) and this entire video I really love how you're creating an entire world and scenario to the picture. Also I'm a big video game player so the idea being created is awesome lol
Awesome video. Very relaxing. I enjoyed so much I fell asleep in the first 2 pages you turned. LoL. But then I kept watching the day after and the pencil sounds were even more tingling.
I much prefer the normal tone of speaking than the whispering on these types of videos. To me, a deeper, male voice is much more conducive to ASMR and relaxation than the sort of weird, semi-whispering most people do. Please do more of these!
Walter Foster (the author) was from here in Southern California, and started making those books in the 1920s. My grandmother learned to draw with them too! That book could be much older than you think.
That a very good book that your grandmother gave you. I really like it. It reminds me of when I was in Ms. Katz Art class. Such fun and able to get lost in your work and imagination. I noticed some of the pencil strokes that you showed on one of the first pages. Those are very useful drawing techniques. Just subbed and will be watching more.
Makes me miss FinalFantasy XIV. I maxed out all crafting abilities within a very short span of time. The market place near the auction house would naturally become a crafting area, for having quick, easy access to materials. I absolutely LOVED sitting during night time within the game and just craft. A soft night-time BGM along with the sound of my tools. E.g. a tiny hammer, tinkering against a small metallic ore or such. So relaxing. Reluctantly, I left, even though I didn't really want to.
I watch your videos with ear buds at work most of the time for relaxation, but at 22:15 I jumped out of my chair almost from that unexpected loud snap!
This was a great video. Do you celebrate Halloween in Australia? You should make a candy video with lighted jack o lanterns in the dark. Would be so cool
you should do an vid with candy wrappers, like skittles, snickers, etc. and you can also experiment with chewing gum boxes, maybe rubbing them together. idk, just some ideas. Big thanks from new york
a decent sized pumpkin from a farm costs us about $15 to $30 in Ma,USA, costumes run about $25-$60 for a basic one, and candy is about $6 to $14 a mixed bag that would only cover about 10 trick or treaters, it would about the same as you guys i would imagine just colder here.
Candles can be quite expensive. For the better ones 20 and up is the norm and I would say that can fall into a luxury category for some. My favorite candle is 30 dollars.
I couldn't help it. Each page I thought of a funny pic on reddit "how to draw an owl. Step 1 draw some circles Step 2 draw the rest of the stinking owl"
Upon further investigation, that man was born in the year 1891, and died in the year 1981. So, I'd assume the book is quite old, but I haven't gotten to that part of the video yet, if you did find it. Just a random fact I thought I'd share.
This is by far my favorite ASMR video! You may say you're a bad artist but it really doesn't matter. I wish you did more videos like this!
Bad? This man went down as literally twelve GOAT. This is the OG. The father of ASMR.
Hands down favorite video! So much Asmr to be found in art. The sound of the pencils was intoxicating.
This is an asmr perfection in every inch. Thank you so much!

Those colored pencils were amazing! I had so many tingles when they were just lightly tapping against each other in your hands.
He listened to me!!!!! The most considerate and dedicated artist!! You are the man!!!!!!
Love how you find new ideas to do, i love drawing noises and watching people draw. Great video once again dimitri :)
I love when you flip the pages!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! I requested this a few videos back, and now, I don't know if my request is what inspired this video, but my wishes were granted. You are the BEST Dimitri!!!!
Please make more of those drawing videos!!!
Its so nice and even more tingly to people who draw a lot themselves. :)

Oh and your voice does have a relaxing effect. So calm and serene.
Lockdown 2020, discovering videos I didnt know existed. Dmitri you need to do something like this again!
I much prefer the normal tone of speaking than the whispering on these types of videos. To me, a deeper, male voice is much more conducive to ASMR and relaxation than the sort of weird, semi-whispering most people do. Please do more of these!
That's the point of ASMR videos

If this was a game, I would buy it. Sounds awesome! An Asmr Video Game!

Simply beautiful. I love this.
I HAVE that book! And yes it was pretty old when I found it ages ago. I'll have to dig it out and see if there's a publishing date...
Violet Femme it's from the 1950s
I love this, thank you so much! Works been getting to me lately and this has taken the edge off :)
Wow, this one made my head explode. More page turning and drawing, please! :)

Thank you Dmitri!! This got me past the sleep gates for sure ))
Thank you for this Dmitri ! Your rich, deep voice is very soothing
I play WoW whilst listening to his videos, makes everything so much more fun and enjoyable! :)
Best ASMR video I've ever watched

Dmitri, please do a soft spoken video! You voice is so relaxing and I would love to see a soft spoken video from you!
Well I became fascinated with what era this book came from! 1949 seems to be the date it was released according to a few websites.
I watch your videos with ear buds at work most of the time for relaxation, but at 22:15 I jumped out of my chair almost from that unexpected loud snap!
I just wanted to mention that I prefer your low voice to your whisper voice. It has a bass resonance that is quite relaxing.
You can't draw but you sure can relax a load of people! Your warm voice is epic!

This was so interesting to watch. *-* I loved the book you showed us.
Thank you, this video put me in asmr heaven!
aussie!!! :)
nice to listen to a fellow aussie ASMR
this was great, so relaxing
Very relaxing video. I love the book.
I looked on google and apparently that book is from the 1920's. May possibly be worth something. :)
Amanda Faith it's actually from the 50s. And it won't be worth much more than the dollar price tag because of the horrendous rip in the pages.
Victoria Hill my comment is over two years old. Thanks tho
Your description of the game or whatever it was is reminding me of RimWorld
Fantastic! Love your voice in this one
I love this video I've watched it multiple times
He started drawing st 18:00

I remember getting a little bit of ASMR while I was fishing for deviate delights in WoW.
great video.......Thanks Dmitri
Dmitri you're the best!
this's interesting, thanks for sharing!
Heh, interesting. What you call "running writing" is called "cursive" in the US. Although I think running writing is a more accurate term.
I was wondering if that's what he was referring to.
+convoku i've never heard that term, i wasn't sure what it meant lol.
I say cursive and Im Australian?
must be like "pop" and "soda" in the US
+convoku 👌
This game sounds Wicked!
Great video, thanks ;)

The weirdest review ever. I like it!

www.amazon.com/wbutterflies-Flowers-Animals-Lanscapes-Lettering/dp/B003FU1R5Y - The book. Published in 1949, January 1st.
Very interesting !
Nice video !!!!!
I remember when I requested this
Could you do some more product reviews or electronics related videos :)
hi Dimitri :) I found you ! I've missed you. kisses from portugal
i did a similar video today.. but this is much better :)
The sculptor in the book died in 1966, so I can only assume it was published before that. Likely the 50s or early 60s. Quite an old book y'got there.
Should do chalk on black paper :D
You should do more drawing videos :)
hahahahaha I've seen that, and now I cannot unsee while watching this video
More of these!
