I understand there are issues regarding slow response times at the CIty, but I also believe there are two sides to every story. I have worked on the private and public side of development in Toronto, and can attest that there are many cases where developers hire garbage engineers and architects, as well as cases where they encounter serious engineering issues that require real solutions. People love to complain about timelines when they are simultaneously skirting City standards on purpose in an effort to save money. This is especially common with small developers who try to cut costs in order to maintain profitability. What reasons were the City giving for those 5 years?
may want to watch his properties a few months from now.
I am thinking about buying a unit in one of his buildings. Is there anything you can share to help me with due diligence?
