The "incident" with the Eldar girl child was the one moment where Vulkan let his emotions overrule his reason and he reacted in the moment contrary to his usual demeanor. And it shamed Vulkan's sense of honor. Besides it's 40k and everyone has at least one PTSD moment.
I just took the test, apparently I tied with Salamanders & Blood Angels by 90%, with Dark Angels and Space Wolves tying at 80%. I have no idea how I managed that...😮 Edit: Retook the test, I got the Green Flamey bois, by 96.67%, with the Blood Angels as a close second by 93%
Just started a Salamander army because something about them always spoke to me, although I didn’t know much about them. This video convinced me I made the right choice.
Love Vulcans boys. Great way to pass my workday. Thanks bub! I've got a mediocre idea for a successor chapter. Gonna go with the whole Dragon Knights theme,...cuz you know....Space knights. What's cooler than space knights. But I need night Lord pieces to go with my dark angel stuff. But, I think it'll work.
Hmmmm... I thought the deal with the Eldar child was while Vulcan was thinking "No! Don't do this, it's wrong!" some Night Lord's pulled up with flamers and well... thus began the feud between the two. At least that's what another lore channel Guess I'll have to check out the original source material to know for sure.
EDIT - never mind. Just go by what Bradley says about the Night Lords, since I can't find my original source. Disregard the details of what they do below - they do get Salamanders killed but probably not in the way I remember. It' s been a while, and I might be mixing up two separate incidents, but I believe that entire Eldar child burning thing was a result of Vulkan raging at the actions of Konrad and the Night Lords during a joint operation. Naturally it wasn't the Heresy yet so he couldn't burn Konrad for ordering friendly fire on his sons who were in melee with Eldar, and the nearest thing he could burn happened to be an Eldar child (I think a child soldier of sorts). Of course, his conscience was in agony the entire damn time, but just this once with Konrad's people killing many of his sons, his rage overpowered his conscience. Mind you, I wouldn't put it past Konrad to have foreseen Vulkan doing this, and piloting fate so that Vulkan would end up burning said child and then feeling horrible about it in the future (I haven't read the book, but it seems like a very Konrad thing to corner the friendliest Primarch into doing the most brutal things just to feel better, or maybe even vindicated), but either way, I AM somewhat sure this had something to do with Night Lords being Night Lords and Vulkan not being able to take his burning rage out on his brother (once again, it wasn't the heresy yet). I like to imagine that the Eldar child was happy to hear Vulkan reminding the Konrad that his thunder hammer was, also a hammer. And then reminding him again, but physically. If I'm remembering two different events, then just know that the Night Lords did indeed friendly fire the Salamanders who were in melee with the Eldar. Vulkan was indeed raging harder than he would ever rage until Istvaan V (he generally gets SUPER PISSED when anyone betrays and then kills his sons). And he had to release enough of his rage to avoid killing another Primarch before the Heresy had even begun.
yeah my tattoo took 40 hours throughout 5 appointments to fully complete. google says needles puncture the skin between 50 and 3000 times per MINUTE. Branding probably would've been so much easier 😂
Wait would Vulcan be good friends with yvrain (idk how to spell her name) the eldar who helped revive guiliman cause that is something that just crossed my mind for some reason
Salamanders are my number top favorite Space Marine chapter! 1. Salamanders 2. Carcharodons (Space Sharks) 3. Raptors 4. Aurora 5. Mortifactors These are my top 5 loyalist Space Marine Chapters
Oh? Where did GW represent a Salamander with a Jamaican accent? I need this lore and the origins of this meme. Also, Salamanders have coal black skin due to their overactive Melanchrome organ. From whence does the assertion that Nocturnian humans have coal black skin come?
@GeneralBradley101VA Oh, come off it, mate. A British voice actor trying to fake a bit of an African accent? It sounds as vaguely Wakandan as it sounds Jamaican. And Adrax is straight Imperial British.
@GeneralBradley101VA I am not surprised. And there is no need to take me seriously. I love 40k lore. And I hate when people insert modern concepts, ideology, and societal trends into a universe where where they have been dead for between ten thousand and thirty-seven THOUSAND years. But I also want to be accurate, even when GW isn't. So when I see Salamanders with African features and Jamaican accents, I want to know if it's another shovel meme or actually official lore. Then you raised my hopes by presenting an official GW source, which turned out to be disappointingly inconclusive. But hey, I will keep looking and enjoying your work.

Hey woah, that eldar child was a dick, she looked at Vulcan funny and called him stupid.
Like theres no wolves in Fenris, theres no eldar "childs".
TTS really made the mold. I love how every salamander now speaks with a Jamaican accent.
I just had a strange thought: imagine a chimeric gene seed of the Iron Warriors and the Salamanders.
Those are probably the black vipers
That would be really interesting to see
Total waste of Salamander genetics
Sick mix.
They would probably seek revenge for fallen humans. A loving flavor of petty.
Hi there folks.
I'm the one who made this picture 48:39.
It was made in Garry's mod and edited in GIMP.
Hope you all like it.
Wish I had gmod too
FOR THE EMPEROR!!!

27:16 finally someone agrees with me, what Emp’s did to Angron is unforgivable
Salamanders are easily my Top three favorite. Thank you for such a great video. They don’t get enough attention. Truly awesome!
You're welcome Brother!

Have to make my pasta on an open fire. Noodles sticking out of the pot catch fire. I don't eat a lot of spaghetti for this reason.
Damn the beginning was hilarious
Loving the deep dive, more of these please although I have enjoyed all of your videos.
Why don’t GW have a boxset for the Salamanders?
a comment sacrifice to the algorithm gods!
This video has sealed the deal. Salamanders are the best.
Well the lad is wearing cataphratti warplate with those in built paldron shield generators
Find it funny that im getting a lot of "firestone" commercials in this video 😂
Ty for sharing some light on these marines, brother.
Great video, but we need some BattleTech!

Boss vid, well done. My faction is Custodes, but you make solid points for Sallies
The only good faction of the Imperium
Imagine if the Salamanders had joined the Space Wolves during the Weeks of Shame.
1:06:03 damn good art

We all know what your favourite loyalist legion is, but as the release draws near, I must ask, what is your favourite traitor legion?
