what if im trying to do forge world, whenever i try to poke the mods i try it says error or something, and im trying to do the patch things but i dont have m.20 for a forge world, yes forge worlds name is forge_world but what would the patch notes look like because im clueless
@@mizzy6638 If it's a patch file for Forge World, you would just apply it to the forge_world.map file. If it's throwing an exception, the patch might be outdated and incompatible with the current version of the map.
Probably a result of the latest update making the patch incompatible with the current version of the map. The mod author will need to update their patch, or you'll need to get the old, compatible version using something like DepotDownloader.

@@SpoofeeGhost The maps were changed in an update. So you'll need to use DepotDownloader to get the old versions of the maps if you run into the issue. If you mean the Role Reversal mod, it has been updated to include prepatched maps.
When I click on apply patch I get a message saying “this process cannot access the file sandbox.map because it is being used by another person.” What do I do now?
@@BateMasterJeff9887 Strange. The only other thing I can think of off the top of my head is that the game didn't close properly and was still running in the background. If that was the case, you should be able to close it through task manager.

to go back to the vanilla game do I just rename the files back to normal?
Yes. Just rename the modded maps to something else or delete them, and give the original maps their normal names.
Everytime I try (with last Assembly version) to open a Halo 1 MCC PC map it gives me error
From my understanding, the process is different for Halo 1. Halo 1 also requires a special fork of Assembly made just for it.

the thing that pops up is, "Assembly Exception Catching Service"

There was a tool for that in the Halo Mods Discord at one point. Not sure if it's been updated or not though.
