Yes. 21 or 22 gauge is the best. But get the ones with the twist off top. Use a bigger 18g to draw the testosterone into the needle.and then switch back to the 21 or 22 Gage tip to injection yourself with. Make sure there are no bubbles in the needle. If there are then hold the needle straight up, Tap the needle and the bubbles will go to the top and pushed the needle slightly inward to get rid of the bubbles and to get to testosterone into the needle. So you're not injecting yourself with air.
i've done more than 200 injections to myself probably and i think this is the best area to inject yourself its way safer than glute and its painless than glute
aspirate. you don't risk anything by doing it, but you do risk a lot if you don't do it. it's like a helmet is not neccessary when riding a bike, but you do die a horrible death if you crash without one.
@@danielkhanine8800it means to draw the needle back because if you do that and the tube draws some blood you are in a vein and could kill yourself by injecting into the bloodstream
This is untrue and not been the standard for several years now. Do not aspirate. There is no benefit to it as hitting any small capilaries or veins in this area will not harm you, but it can cause further internal scarring on the muscle, as well as an increase in post injection pain. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8783631/#:~:text=Although%20aspiration%20prior%20to%20intramuscular,for%20Disease%20Control%20and%20Prevention. Whether you are a doctor or self-administering, please follow guidelines and ask a doctor where to inject and have them teach you, but also aspirating is not recommended and will likely increase pain and irritation significantly.
@@danielkhanine8800 when you insert the needle, pull back on the plunger. If air comes out, you're fine. If blood comes out it means you hit a vein and you need to take it out and inject it somewhere else.

No aspiration?? You should always aspirate if that accidentally went in his vein he’d know about it! you don't need to aspirate on the ventroglute it's simple not possible to hit anything there, unless you're using a huge ass neddle

No, IM injection does not require it.
