Couple things to note, you really want both your temp sensors up the front of the engine for the best and most accurate reading. What size coolant lines are you running? I have an an16 male~fem with 1/8 port that might help you out and get another port up the front. These should be on the intake side "out" coolant. Alternatively the EWP sensor can be mounted in the radiator next to the hot side inlet. Also would pay to earth the engine coolant temp sensor to the ecu sensor ground to save any electrical interference.
Yeah you’re right on the temp sensors. I had it running last night to test the fans out and they clicked on at 80 which was fine ( triggered from microtech) then I looked at the Davies Craig hand controller and it was reading in the 40s. So I’m probably going to drop the radiator and weld a fitting in top tank for ewp sensor
Definitely the angriest sounding Renesis I’ve ever heard! Be really interesting to see how it tunes up. Run it up on E85 if you can, as it’ll help either the 10:1 compression ratio.
I altered the factory intake manifold and deleted the ssv valves and built a plenum for it. After market throttle body . At the moment stock rail and injectors. I have a video somewhere way back of doing the plenum. Have a look in the playlists for this car. It was a long time ago ha ha
