Pelinal Whitestrake I read that in middle school via YT upload and liked it unironically once upon a time. I think the biggest thing that bugged me back then was why this “epic,” “superior” new uber villain (a guy who’d apparently take a mega Image team-up to beat... and who’s already taken some DC and Marvel guys captive while he’s at it) was leaning on Robotnik Prime’s SWATbots (not even Shadow SWATbots) for minions instead of using something new... and I still bought the hype like a chump.
This game looks shockingly beautiful, but this isn’t the case with a few of these boss fights
The closest thing Spawn ever got to having a good video game. This game has it's faults, but it's literally still the best one in the entire franchise.

Yeah I have the one on psx. It was fun for the fighting part, at least.
I never played the dreamcast fighting one, that one got away for me. 😞

I like all of them, the only thing i don't like about the PS1 game it was too difficult and the ending of that game was bad very bad and dissapointing

I thinks this is one of the most underrated snes games ever. Wonderful soundtrack , nice graphic and all the most prominent Spawn villains. The Mad One doesn't exist in the comics but he was a very good character
Story is Spawn WANTS to die but he can't die as long as his daughter, Cyan, is in danger... so the ending, Malbolgia essentially recharged his Necroplasm back to max... he can only die if it hits 0:0:0:0.
That's what I found so far... but yes, ughhh such a hard B.s. game.

One of my favorite games growing up... beat it when I was younger too... wasn't too hard, and it was fun as hell.
Everyone had that one first game they always loved mine was the capcom AVP game
Some impressive boss designs for an Acclaim comic book-based game
Not shown - The ridiculous amount of damage you take when you get hit. The game was super overtuned for difficulty, for no real reason. Which I guess is why you have near infinite lives.
Also, using your cool special powers drained your life, so it was kinda pointless to even do so.
@CuddlyZebesian There's passwords for stages 2 to 10 that allow you to start on any of those 9 stages with your necroplasm counter set at 9:9:9:9.

I always felt bad beating bosses with Als verticle kick and jumping swoops. But after seeing you do it, I feel at ease. Btw anyone think Malebolgias gift was extra long lasting Viagra that never goes away?

A Superman snes game could've had side scrolling fighting like this, but more flight and a super meter where you can use a heat vision beam, ice breath, a powerful smash punch and invulnerability.
Funny that Spawn has a DC comics feels.

This was a fun game to play but, I didn't understand the ending sounding like you don't win anything after completing the game. It was mentioned that you are supposed to be rescuing children but all that happened to you was Malbolgia played a trick on you giving you a gift but you end up being put as a prisoner and the game ends without showing that you rescued children and/or won anything.
The twins man if it wasn't already obvious Nintendo wanted you to play Mario games they'd probably named the twins slario and rutigi or something like that

If you haven't seen it yet, after the credits, Spawn's power meter is reset to 9:9:9:9 again and thus extending his time as a hellspawn.
