What about the Met police/CPS's assault, battery, false imprisonment, malicious prosecution, misuse of pepper spray, and destruction of body cam footage by 20 different officers???? All of this is simply abuse of the criminal justice system for the purposes of political repression and abusing human rights.

The CPS recently refused to charge someone that was on camera stealing my car. They found their jacket in my boot with a receipt. The receipt was traced to the shop where they were seen on camera buying goods. The reason... lack of evidence. Yet they charge this with 'nothing to answer'. Says it all.
Actual crime isn't being prosecuted in the US either. Just political prosecution
Yeah we had someone pay with fake money in our store.
We had his address, name and family members actively offering to admit he did it to teach him a lesson.
Police literally refused to even visit him, outright concluding that the family members 'will probably change their mind before he gets there'.
Never called the police again after that.
Every single issue my whole life the police never once even visited the criminals, so calling them and not ALWAYS yielded the same result.
The UK does have the best police in the entire world though, we have won that accolade year after year. UK police have THE best serious crime clear up rate around. Our officers are the best trained and best organised. It is difficult to get a job in the police today with entry requirements fairly strict to weed out morons and the unstable. Time after time i`ve heard of wannabe police in the UK, New Zealand, Ireland, Canada, Australia etc that just can`t make the grade and that get turned away time after time. Yet if they cross the Pond/border into the US they are accepted without issue! Kinda worrying considering the USs much, much higher crime and serious crime rates when compared and yet more worrying considering all US police are armed! So a formerly bullied UK moron, utterly desperate to get into the police force to get their own back on society can`t get into the police here. Yet if they cross the Pond they are welcomed with open arms and given a firearm?

I had two cars stolen from my parking. Got the security camera footage and identified who it was from the local social housing. Due to their juvenile status (they stole my cars and then set on fire), the Police would not prosecute and said if the security footage was not deleted then I could be charged for filming children. - You cant make this stuff up! Where I live now has private security as the Police are a joke... a bad joke.

Well, not proved innocent. The inspector filled the paperwork out wrongly, so no case to answer: Robinson didn't do what he was accused of doing on the date specified.
If, however, it had been the correct date, he may still have been acquitted, as explained in the video.

Why were the people who brought this case not guilty of Contempt of Court? They are senior and experienced and know exactly what they are doing.

According to the BBC website, the case was dismissed as a police officer entered the wrong date in the charge. I tempted to use the sole double positive, which means a negative in English. 'Yeah, right.'

It should be automatic that if any case was thrown out due to mistakes/bad evidence, then the prosecution side should pay the costs of the defence!

A certain percentage is entitled to be recovered in a case like this; it used to be around 90% and more like 50-60% these days. So spending £60,000 (to the lawyers), they should be able to reclaim £30-35,000; minus their 'administration fee' and he should get paid back £25-30,000 - which is from public money.....
So the lawyers have a field day, make 65k+ and the public pays the wrongly-charged defendent back 25-30k.
And the police? They keep their jobs and pensions...also paid by the public.

A dyslexic inspector [let alone be an officer] should never be allowed, as policing involves a lot of reading and writing.
It said it made mistakes because of this. This is a liability to the force.
Ah but, DEI pushers will always make allowances for incompetence under the banner of 'protected characteristics'.
Being dyslexic is not an excuse for poor policing. It’s very easy to single out one persons disability and attempt to use against them as a smokescreen.
Scapegoating their colleague in this way just proves what kind of people we are allowing to police our streets.
The truth of the matter is that all the officers lied under oath and perverted the course of justice by conveniently loosing evidence.
Furthermore I am very suspicious as to why the CPS even allowed this case to go so far. It suggests to me that some person(‘s) of influents has attempted to coerce both organisations to discredit and make an example Tommy.

The Met Police have been using the PROCESS as the PUNISHMENT. Keeping Tommy on bail for this and that, petty charges and such. It’s the bail conditions THEMSELVES that are punishing him. Banning him from gatherings, banning him from cities, preventing him from assembly and documenting protests (his job/hobby) Whilever he’s on bail, he is under conditions and prevented from his activism. As an ex-police officer myself, I am both embarrassed and ashamed at the police actions in this case.
I hope TR sues for unlawful arrest and that his actions lead to a review of police behaviour.

My 11 year old child was chased by a group Muslim older lads and they pulled a knife out on him and tried to stab him in the eye, he was terrified and actually vomited with fear. I contacted the police as we had all the names, they did not come out for over a week, I’m sure a criminal offence should be dealt with asap, eventually they turned up but only to talk to my son and us, not writing down any details or taking a statement from us. They said they will have to go talk to their superior and come back in a few days for further investigation, that was a year ago now, they didn’t come back or go visit the lads that did it let alone want to give us a chance to charge and make a complaint and statement. No crime number or investigation absolutely nothing done for a serious crime. Iv not been contacted once since. Surely this is criminal behaviour from the police and against my and my kid’s rights as UK citizens, but I know exactly why this was ignored, but I bet if it was the other way around I’d of had my door kicked in off it’s hinges. Disgusting and totally let down by my own country and government and police. Please someone tell me this isn’t right or what i could do about it.
What were the circumstances surrounding the attack? Were there any independent witnesses, CCTV or other evidence that would support a prosecution?

A proportion of the money should have to come directly from the officers who made the decisions. They transgress, someone else pays the bill, that is not justice.

I find it increasingly more difficult to say "well, there's a few bad apples, but there's a lot of good officers". Because what are these good officers doing? Why aren't they speaking out? Seems to me that there isn't much difference between a corrupt officer and a good officer just following the other corrupt officers.

Perhaps a person charged with a custodial crime is entitled to legal aid and if they choose to spend more money on a legal defence that's on them.

Wasn’t it the case that it fell down procedurally due to human error rather than the officer knowingly believing he didn’t have authorisation? If so probably hard to prove that the officer acted wilfully although could possibly be some sort of tort.

What I do find so bad about the system trying to shut him down is the fact that when he wins the case, why doesn't the prosecution have to pay his costs when proved inicent.
I don’t think he was proved anything. The case fell away due to defective procedure and/or errors or omissions by the police. Therefore it didn’t go that far.

Any laptop or mobile phone will work correctly until the machine cuts out when the battery has insufficient charge to operate ! It would not change any input , such as the date , etc !
