  • Hello all! I have another van video. I have several new viewers that may not have seen a van tour so I gave another one this time with a little more depth. I talk about repairs, removing the seats and what I did to set it up for solo camping trips.

So just FYI.. The fittings ziptied to the accumulator are to the rear a.c and the compressor. I have the same van but a '95. Previous owner cut all the wires and removed the rear ac and all the front components. So I installed a new Compressor, Condenser, Accumulator, and re did the wires but only to have a.c. for the front. Its not difficult to fix if you wanted to. If I can help ya out in any way just let me know. A.C. is clutch in the summertime over here in N.Y. ✌️

Thanks for the info, I appreciate that! I may definitely hit you up on that after a hot day yesterday in south Georgia. It got real hot inside the van while at work and I sure felt it. Thanks for watching!

I have a '23 Tacoma 4-banger, and I'm on the fence for buying a pop-up camper or just an old school conversion van like this. Just found your channel, and it's funny we have the same interests.

That's great to hear that there is someone out there like me! I use to have a pop up back in the day. It was okay because I like that you can still see behind you when towing but it took forever for me to set up. In the south Georgia heat I was drenched by the time I got it set up. The tent is similar and both you had to set up sometimes when you got home to air and dry out. The van is a little different in that I can actually find a portable AC unit to go inside to keep me cool in the summer and in the winter I have already used it and it has been great. That is why I haven't been using the Tacoma much for camping lately. We did by a pathfinder as well and I think I am going to use that more cross country so I can sleep in that. Thanks for watching!
