    Damn, Stanley, this channel is cooking alongside your life success! Inspirational. With that cat discussing his classes after 20:20 it’s all over. Best upper tier construction and landscape excavating channel on UA-cam.

    I can agree with Tim on that I have a rhyme and a reason for every material choice and architectural detail I put into a project

    Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Interesting and entertaining video. Funny how the building trades find new and innovative ways to do sketchy stuff. Wishing you and your family the best.

    Hey Stan....isn't this the same guy that did the large pond for a YT guy "BamaBass"? That was an incredible build as well.

    I've learned a lot watching your videos Stan. However having worked for many years lifting railroad locomotives, engines, motors and cars I can tell you if I was the foreman on that job I would have stopped the lifting job until there were proper lifting straps. I was in charge of a crew of 30 guys and they sent me to sling and lifting school a few times and I can tell you that you broke all the procedural rules right there. I'm, pretty sure you already know that so I just add my two cents as a professional and a nagging reminder to do better.

    Why not use a bigger excavator or the kobelco?

    if you had one more strap keeping the straps togethere, then this wouldn't happen. it would be way SAFER. take care

    Thats not sketchy its dangerous !!

    Okay safety sam alert 😮 I'm all for risking life and limb but seriously all of these people at one time😂 come on one person at a time One injury at a time Don't take out the whole crew with one incident 😢
    - for real I actually know a handheld shovel operator who got tagged by the bucket and it caused some pretty decent brain damage on him He is definitely not the same anymore and he definitely got a fat settlement which was not worth it for him because he was not a de da dee So he would have traded the money for his health and probably been able to make more money than what he got for the injury.
    Work smarter and not harder. I always ask myself how much does it matter to do what I want to do with the risk that I'm risking and if the answer is you could have moved that boulder somewhere else and use the slightly lighter boulder to put in the spot then the risk is not worth the reward 👍

    • @MIGHTYX2010
      @MIGHTYX2010 7 місяців тому +2

      Could have just taken the bucket off and gain the weight needed to move that boulder around safer

    Why are those bald headed guys pushing on the bucket. If the hydraulics can’t handle it, I don’t think they will make a difference.

    12:44 Pretty disappointed. This is just dumb. You all are very lucky no one got hurt.

  • @dennislamers986

    I'm shocked you didn't invest in some weight capable lifting straps. Throwing over metal edges is begging for trouble. In the beginning having those guys help lift the bucket was crazy. Should have brought in a crane. Could you honestly sit around and enjoy your pond knowing someone died or was disabled because of 5 grand to be safe. I guess safety isn't in those classes.

    If you have to go to a gym before work your not doing enough at work. By the time I do a full days work if done pretty much everything that you'd do at a gym and I work 7 days a week I probably do more in a week then most people do at a gym

      Weigh lifting to shape your own body, the way you want it to look, is a significant benefit over working to make someone else wealthy.
