Really looking forward to this video series! Stan whatever happen with the neighbor and the Fence install issue as far as city code went? Did the city over look it?
I’m love these style of ponds I’ve always wanted to do one only with a Sigiriya (n) style hydraulic pump and siphon system that’s my main gripe we rely to much on electricity instead of physics to power things and it makes monthly maintenance and upkeep needlessly expensive
Hey Stan, could you break down approaching a client about having to add more materials for the job. I typically get the "I'm trying to scam them" feeling from clients when I approach them about changing things up with materials.
Is this just a looking pond or will you stock it to go fishing and catch dinner? Put some bass and catfish in there if you will catch and eat out of the pond
Stanley I am so jealous not because you have a pond because you are building a pond I love that stuff. Like you were saying in the video bringing people together you can learn from each other I had never tried never no one ever brought up to me to use a another set a clock liner on top of your rubber liner we always used to double up on our rubber liners where we set our boulders. I don't know if you are going to do this and tell us the total cost of this build it's got to be will I put it this way here in California in my area 2 to 4 cobble a yard are in a $200 range 4 to 6 cobble a yard are in the 250 range . Your video doesn't give me the full scope of everything but I bet you have at least seven yards of probably both types of rock and boulders here in California I don't even know I don't even bother because I haven't built one so long people don't want to invest in that gas is killing them car insurance is going up here in California because of the they don't want to ensure homes anymore so they want to find revenue some other way
I miss landscape, done a hand full of ponds, really i was watching to c the liner, and if u were gona use heavy felt, did a couple liner only, convinced boss to let me put sand bed on one of those, and of course thats the one that failed, after that we used felt on top, but i always wanted to do it exactly how you did it in this vid, but $$$ dictate in back assward logic

California is one of our biggest states for water features
@@GregWittstockThePondGuy not on the Central Coast Santa Maria to SLO
just pondering about the pond lol
Where did you get those large boulders?
What is the name of the company you got the liner from?
Is Zach wearing insulated bibs in the middle of summer
😎
I can help you run equipment for jobs or just around your property. My grandpa owns a Pluming Company and I run his equipment at only 11 years old.
Me screaming malt-o-meal!
Man I hope you asked your neighbours if you were allowed to build this in your garden 😂
Any problems getting the permit to do this, since the neighbors may not like you
Stan shame couldn't put in marsh area
I built a marsh in this landscape feature
Looks like a piece of metal train track

I haven't heard good stuff, maynard! Forever 😂
