She thinks she can beat the one dude up (she can’t) and she rates one of the best looking guys a five because the sleeves of his jacket are a bit short? Compared to how some of the guys dress, including a dude with a black sock and a white sock, the small jacket guy is pretty well put together.
Blue shirt and braces is not ugly, he’s actually very cute and I think the braces are actually pretty cute. He’s got like a charming Frank Ocean kind of vibe, I hope he runs with it.

Sadly it's not anymore thanks to social media. They show same set of faces saying they are attractive and others are not. Tall is attractive short is not also they says it's perfectly ok to have preferences. It's definitely not preferences anymore.
There's been like 50 videos of people doing this . I never see these comments on those. Now it's "attractiveness is subjective" it's easy to tell when someone is attractive vs when they aren't.

Often Gen Z women in this day age (I am also gen z) who aren’t that attractive come across as just as arrogant about their looks as you’d expect the super pretty ones, calling themselves a 10 and would rather avoid being honest and vulnerable about how they really feel about themselves and their struggles (or they’re just deluded) like we’re seeing some of the men do in this video.
There was one man in this video who called himself a 10, we don’t feel sorry for him because what’s there to feel sorry for, he appears to have enough confidence which is great for him but he’s probably also delusional. Because no one is perfect and you can and should be confident in who you are however you are and anything you feel like you don’t have you should work on to improve.

Yes you'd probably not let what they look like get in the way with how you'd think they'd behave in a relationship, however I do not think having lesbians rank men would be representative of women who date mens opinions because I saw a study once and it showed this graph of straight womens and bisexual womens ideal masculinity in a male face ...and bisexual women preferred less masculine male faces than straight women..., and i'd be willing to put money on that lesbians would favour even less masculine male faces than bisexual women do, and this would skew the ratings.
it would be like asking a bunch of straight dudes to rank lesbians. the "butch" lesbians would receive poor ratings due to straight males femininity preferences.. but I have seen "butch" lesbian women do very well with other feminine attractive lesbians. It is obvious to me that generally speaking lesbians find butch looking women noticeably more attractive than straight men find them.

I'll use a very quick example of that: I heard many women say Jay Z is a zero as they consider him extremely ugly, while others rank him a 10 because of his confidence, success, the fact he won over Beyonce etc.

At first I didn't really agree with Sydney, however when she explained that this is how she uses dating apps, then I understood her opinions more though I didn't feel similarly. Dude, black homie in blue shirt encapsulated the exact feeling of how it feels like to be judged by height the second she said it and he made that face. I know it's subjective and all but to be judged by something you neither can change nor have any control over is really frustrating. It just feels unfair and unjust. Hell I even knew some that were frustrated because they felt it's shallow to feel like that but it's not like you can change how you feel over night. A lot of women like men to be taller/bigger than them because it makes them feel smaller, and the gender expectation for women is to be smaller than men. A man who is tall/bigger makes it easier to fit that expectation and feel more feminine. Even for people that believe gender norms shouldn’t matter, that socialization can still subconsciously affect what they find attractive.

Point being the access men have to friends or women friends in general is minimal. If 33% of young men have no physical relationships with women. Obviously there is a large percentage of women who have not given them a chance. If they had options this statistic wouldn't be true since most men are not bisexual or homosexual.

There are actually rare girls out there who don't mind shorter guys. My mom is one of them. Every bf she's had has been her height or shorter (she's 5'9") so I grew up thinking it was a non-issue. Apparently I was naive because it appears to be all most women care about. It's like they'd date a tall ugly guy over a short handsome one.

But since I have found out recently, I have lost all sympathy for women who get rejected for not being a virgin or having a body count. Both of these preferences are based in patriarchy.

@@abcdefg2174 No, it indeed goes with gender. As I said, if the men were judging by heavily stereotyped standards about women, then they would have been trashed and being called misogynists. And even though I wouldn't go that far, I would consider it a problem also. Again, ranking and having preferences is not what it's bad, is judging immediately by things that are rooted in gender stereotypes and roles like men having to be taller and stronger (based implicitly on the idea/role that men have to provide protection and defense). Being that shallow will lead you to have more bad experiences than what you would get if you pay more attention to other things.
