- Hi guys and ladies, in this video I'm going through some of my favorite books written in Russian. I hope here you'll find some Russian literature you didn't know about and you might want to read it in Russian with me or on your own.
00:00 - Intro
00:22 - "Похороните меня за плинтусом", Павел Санаев: www.litres.ru/pavel-sanaev/po... (link to buy)
03:57 - "Котлован", Андрей Платонов: ilibrary.ru/text/1010/index.html (link to read online)
08:41 - "Хлебзавод", Алексей Олейников: literratura.org/dramaturgy/48... (link to read online)
12:37 - "Ёжик в тумане", Сергей Козлов: lib.ru/KOZLOW/ezhikwtumane.txt (link to read online)
I did all the translation for the excerpt myself except for the excerpt for "Котлован". For "Котлован" I quoted the translation by Mirra Ginsburg (1975).
For "Хлебзавод" I did not use a book cover like for the rest of the books because I did not find one. Instead I used a poster made for a Les Partisans' show based on that play.
