Nora…awesome video.I just love watching all your video’s, they all so detailed and easy to follow. I purchased Leca and I will be doing my first plant in leca when they arrive.
Miss Nora, this is hands-down the coolest moss pole idea that I've ever seen! I would love to attempt it on my own, and I'm thinking that I might make sort of a "franken-pothos" with it, using cuttings from several varieties of pothos. Thank you for posting this video, I'm so excited to try it out! Your videos are incredibly inspiring - because of you, I've decided to switch my plants from soil to leca and I cannot wait to see all of the roots growing and thriving! I hope you're having a wonderful day, and I'm looking forward to seeing your next video :-)
I know I have said this on several post but I just can't get enough of your videos. I have run out of ones to watch. 😊. All my supplies have arrived to make my moss poles except the darn moss which is taking forever to be delivered. I absolutely can't wait to watch your easy step by step guide while I make all my moss poles. Im converting all my plants eventually to LECA as well. It's going to take some time because I have well over 100 plants to get converted. You are hands down my favorite plantuber ❤️
Wow, Nora! I realize this video is 2 years old, but I just found your channel. I have that exact plant right next to me in my office - wondering what I was gonna do with it (it is still in the tiny pot I bought it in). I think I am going to do something along this line with some clippings from its vines. and then repot the original plant like your original plant ("still" in soil). Thank you for the idea!!! I wish I could see what that plant looks like NOW (2 years later)!!!!
Fill the bottom of the flat pole with LECA, which will increase root mass, prevent the moss from falling out and help stabilize the pole in the pot. Great video though
A rectangular moss pole!!!! Omg!!!! This is a hit..I love what you did. I've never seen anything like it!!!! I have the materials to do this. Your plants is going to explode!!! Thank you for sharing. Great job, mama!
This gives me an idea for making a green wall for behind an aquarium possibly. I love aquaponics and something like this would look beautiful hanging from the wall as a backdrop for an aquarium covered in different plants. Maybe I'll have the plant roots growing into the fish tank and have some plastic backing to protect the wall from moisture? So many possibilities! I love your channel! Thank you! ❤️
Thanks for sharing!! I'm going to try making my first moss wall for my pothos plants. But somehow I'm imagining putting the metal rods in cupcake molds or something and pour cement there, idk maybe 4 cm or more, and hoping they will be heavier at the bottom with individual cement attachments, thus more stable. Maybe I'll end up glueing the cement, i don't really know but I'm excited to try. Thinking of visually dividing my large room with this kind of a wall 😊
Thank you for your kind words and for watching and subscribing, much appreciated! I know what you mean about N'Joy. I am tempted to just call it N'Joy instead of Snow Queen. It is sold as a Snow Queen here in Australia.
I've been loving your videos. Since watching, I've made several moss poles and attached them to my Thai Contstellation Monsterra, Thai Contstellation Standleyana, Pink Princess x2, Siltepecana x2. Already the plants are pushing out larger leaves. Thanks for the help!
Nora, I love your innovations and creative ideas. I learn so much from you. I am definitely going to attempt to make one of these for some marble queens starts I have. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. Your encouraging commentaries give me some confidence. 😄 💚🪴💚
I love the way these moss structures look. I must make one. I have plenty of moss left over because I use it for orchids that don't use much and I buy it when I see it because it's always very little in stock now... go figure. That pothos is an njoy. Marble and Snow have more mottled markings. Yours has solid green center with white on the edges. I have about 8 different kinds.
I love the look but how often do you wet the moss to keep it moist. That’s a lot of moss. I’m transforming my current moss poles to the one that has a plastic shield you shared with us. It looks so neat. How long have you had an interest in all things plants? Nora you need your own television show! Plant on!💚🌿
Television show! Now that would be something!! After I have given the moss a soak,I try to use my pressure sprayer every few days to keep it moist. I have always loved plants but lock downs durig covid really brought it out of me completely.
Awesome! I love it! Such a great idea and this way I might be able to keep my moss pole moist! I also love your earrings - you look lovely and seem like a wonderful, happy person. Thanks for the video!
Wonderful video Nora. Thanks once again for the detailed, and personal instructions and insights. By the way, I loved your collab with Jan! P.S. I know you are the "Leca Queen," but I'd love to see you experiment (and share) with Leca and Pearlite, and most definitely with Pon! IF you have any interest. Best wishes in the new year, and beyond.
I just had a vision of one way I might want to do this. I love zip ties, but I want to stop with extra plastic consuming. Unless it would interfere with my plant if I repot it I think taking those green poles (I might use something else, we will see) and weaving them through the hardware cloth holes with enough that only they go into the soil. Hmmmm..... Excellent video and ideas!!
I love this idea! I wanted to grow monstera adonsonii and pothos very tall up a moss pole against the wall and I was wondering how I could make it wide. Thanks so much for sharing. I look forward to an update on how yours looks after the plants have grown up.
Hi Nora - new subscriber from Quebec Canada - love your channel! Couple of questions regarding the moss poles given I'm really new at it (I've totally adopted your version btw and have made 3 so far ;)) Q1: Is it necessary to keep the entire moss pole moist when the plants are so young and haven't reached any height yet or can you keep only the closest section of the moss pole moist? Q2: Given this large beautiful creation, I'm wondering why you didn't add a plastic backing to it to help slow evaporation? (I thought that was brilliant but am wondering now if it causes issues?) Keep up this great work, beautiful job!
Thank you for your kind words and for watching and subscribing, much appreciated! It is not necessary to moisten the whole pole. I only moisten the bit right next to the plant when the plant is still small. The only reason I did not add a plastic backing is that I did not have any! Adding a sheet would make it look nicer too!
Thank you so much for making this video!! How would you rehydrate this moss wall panel if you cannot use your water bottle method? I'm slowly converting my plants to moss poles and leca because I love your system so much. You are doing right by your plants and shows because they are thriving~ I also noticed you started using a lavalier mic the last few videos. The audio sounds great!
Hello, thank you for your lovely words. Yes, got amic! Got to level up! Somuch to learn with this UA-cam business! I would geberally use my pressure sprayer to keep this moist as I will only moistening the bottom bit fornow. It will take longer than usng the bottle but still possible.
Hey Rosie. Thank you. I have given mini up dates, see below. It is pretty slow growing so not much happening yet so you will have to wait for a bit longer. ua-cam.com/video/q3hVcXb_tug/v-deo.html

A frankenpothos is an amazing idea! Try to make sure they mostly grow at the same rate 😊
You are the Bob Ross of plants. I SO enjoy watching you work and you never cease to impress me 💖
Thanks so much 😊. What lovely words and I certainly do not even belong in the same sentence as Bob Ross, my kids certainly don't think so 😂😂.
Love that comparison!
Would love to see an update on this! Fantastic idea :)
You got it! Coming soon. Check out this video for a sneak peak. ua-cam.com/video/q3hVcXb_tug/v-deo.html

I can’t wait to see that grow up that pole. It’s going to be gorgeous
I know right! Can you just imagine it!
Fill the bottom of the flat pole with LECA, which will increase root mass, prevent the moss from falling out and help stabilize the pole in the pot. Great video though
Interesting additions. Thank you for that. Well appreciated 😌 ☺.

Thank you for your kind words and for watching and subscribing, much appreciated! It will be amazing yes..I would love to see yours.

Thank you so much! I am really looking forward to seeing this one grow.

If you like this, you will love the video I have for next week, you must watch it!😍
Love to see a follow up as your beautiful Snow Queen makes her way up the moss pole.
For sure, you will definitely see her.
Very ingenious! Kudos to you…
Thank you very much!
So happy to see that it worked out. That will look so nice once they begin to grow up that moss. Keep us posted on her progress.
Will do! It was touch and go for a second there but it all worked out. I am still shocked as to how stable the pole is.
Thank you Nora…. You have beautiful plants 🪴
Thanks so much 😊
Can’t wait to see how this matures!
You and me both!
Omg! That plant is going to be beyond STUNNING! Once it starts to climb!
I think so too! It is going to be epic!
Wow... look at this Spectacular that is the name for this..thank you

I’m so glad to now know that some pothos can live in leca and water. You saved me from looking it up 😉 thanks!
You are very welcome. Giving folks some information about plants in leca and semi hydroponics is what I am all about 😊
Your pants are beautiful. Thank you for these wonderful ideas. God bless. 🥰 . Love your voice.
Thank you so much!

So cool! Isn’t that an n’joy pothos though… doesn’t look like a snow queen to me! :)
Thank you for your kind words and for watching and subscribing, much appreciated! I know what you mean about N'Joy. I am tempted to just call it N'Joy instead of Snow Queen. It is sold as a Snow Queen here in Australia.
I can’t wait to make one of these! Though your pothos looks more like a Manjula than a Snow Queen
I've been loving your videos. Since watching, I've made several moss poles and attached them to my Thai Contstellation Monsterra, Thai Contstellation Standleyana, Pink Princess x2, Siltepecana x2. Already the plants are pushing out larger leaves. Thanks for the help!

Great idea your njoy pothos will look great on there.
I think so too! Thank you.
Fantastic.
Many thanks!
It is a great pleasure watching your videos!! Thank you again and again! It is expensive but there is no comparison with growth in the soil. Love it!!
Thank you! Life is about doing what you love. We all pay to do what we love so this is no different.
Just a suggestion but I'd love to see you grow Philodendron micans up a moss pole to see how big you can grow the leaves.
I am just about to pole up my Micans cuttings that are ready to go. watch this space! Notification bell for you if you want to see that.
Bravo
This is the best ever moss wall arrangement I have seen in my life.
Love you from India

I love this idea! I wanted to grow monstera adonsonii and pothos very tall up a moss pole against the wall and I was wondering how I could make it wide. Thanks so much for sharing. I look forward to an update on how yours looks after the plants have grown up.
Thank you. What would be great would be to have the moss wall actually attached to the wall. Now that would be something!
Great video!
I love this, it would so very easy to extend it to make taller, once the plant reaches the top.
Glad you enjoyed it
Indeed

All the best, I hope it works for you. Pleaseshow me the results. I do not have an Etsy shop.

Where can I buy those earrings? LOL. They are unique.
Thank you, I got them off a seller on etsy but I had her make mine bigger! I like big leaves !!
That's awesome, thanks for sharing :)
Thank you and you are very welcome 😊.
Absolutely great idea. W leca too. SUBSCRIBED 🌱❤🌱❤🌱
Thank you for your kind words and for watching and subscribing, much appreciated!
Beautiful! Your plant looks like a Pothos N Joy or Glacier not a snow queen.
Thank you 😊. In Australia it is called a Snow Queen .
@@TheLecaQueen Amazing. Thank you
Loved it
Thank you 😊.
absolutely beautiful and amazing. how often do you water the moss or do you ever water the moss.
Thank you. I try to get it moist at least once a week.
So the plant will grow up the moss? Where do you get the lekker
Yes, it will grow up the moss. I get leca from hydroponics shops or you can find it online.
I love this idea compared to moss poles!
Very nice
Thanks
