Excellent. After watching a video of a groomer that was trying to rush, was so impatient with the dog and seemed to be 'tweaking', it was a pleasure watching a true professional work. For those clients that don't understand what it takes to work with or own a breed that requires extensive grooming, WELCOME to the world of dog grooming.

Weszłam na filmik z ciekawości. Nie mogłabym być groomerką, jeśli ludzie mają takie wymagania co do mega dokładnego strzyżenia psa, które trwa tyle czasu i męczy zwierzę. Moment na początku, nożyczki tak blisko oczu wygląda niebezpiecznie. Na "podwieszenie" na końcu filmiku już nie byłam w stanie patrzeć. Na plus, że widać, iż Pani chwilami uspokaja psa, mowi do niego. No i jasne, pies wygląda jak z wystawy.

Sorry, l did not put the translation to see what is all written. l was watching your video because we've just got a Shitzu puppy and wanted to see how is the grooming. Don't you think that the dog standing in that same position for more then 20 min its a bit cruel for the poor thing?...he was shaking in the end...? maybe could start with the dog laying down or change his position sometimes??... Looks beautiful....but a bit of a suffer....? Hope you understand my point. Thanks!
Can I cut a long fur shitzu like this? A friend of mine have a shitzu but her fur is all tangled and dirty. I want to help him but I don't know if shitzu's hair can be cut just like that, and a bath won't totally help his dog.
Patience, lot's of work with comb, slicker brush or better still a dematting comb, their not expensive and go through knots, tangles and mats with ease. Follow with a slicker brush. I know from experience, the pup will look 100 times better after a good brushing out. Only then do you bathe the pup. If you bathe the pup with tangles and mats, they shrink and pull tighter and tighter on the dogs skin as they dry. If this continues, it can cause serious skin problems and pain for the pup that may require a Vet to take care of.
@ Maria Cristina (since you have your comment set where no one can reply to it)....this is how groomers all over the WORLD groom dogs. They stand on a table. Cruel? Seriously? How in the world do you expect a groomer to groom a dog if it's laying down. Yes....maybe a geriatric dog while working on it's face, but that's about it. If the dog here wanted to sit on it's bum to take a break from standing, it could have very well done so, ya know. It's not harnessed in a standing position and being forced.
