Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 and Interceptor - Exhaust install

- Love the Royal Enfield Continental GT and the Interceptors and they are great bikes but they sound very lackluster until you do a few things. One of those things that really change the way the bike sounds and feels is a good exhaust. We installed a TEC bike parts exhaust to this Dr. Mayhem and the difference in sound is grin enducing. It is cool I can actually hear his bike when I ride with him. Used to be my bobber's exhaust would drown out the sound of his bike. He is loving the new sound.
Congrats! in terms of size, is the length of the TECs the same as the originals? And with regard to the width, does the bike remain the same width or is it reduced slightly in this sense?
These pipes are slightly smaller but not drastically. The size fits well with the look of the bike, makes it a bit less wide and weigh quite a bit less. They only sound better the more they are broken in.

How is single seat compared to stock seat is it softer
Feels a little better but it is mostly for when riding solo. The stock goes back on for 2up riding
Was the sound footage of new pipe with or without the baffles?
Without. It sounds so good and even better months later as it has broken in a little.

Just a lot of toys to work on. 😀 the RE is my son's. Very fun bike 🏍
Get rid of the headers - they have hidden internal restrictions and also weigh a ton.. I put a single pipe TEC Stinger II plus a DNA air intake kit on mine - f###ing amazing - really opened the bike up and the sound is awesome! With the TEC Stinger - get rid of the center stand, really cleans up the bikes aesthetic lines and saves weight.
He has talked about that too. I'll install whatever he gets. These are fun bikes!
@@MessyGarageBMW I am going to order a pair of Scorpion mufflers - I heard these on a bike and WOW the sound was better than my Stinger and same performance !

you need the center stand! How you going to repair your tire middle of nowhere?Some things make more sense having on the bike then save a pound or two.
